Could you try singles with vt80 4U too?

    VT80 4U is head heavier as VT80 3U.

So even VT80 4U is overall lighter in may have a heavier feeling.

So I've had a few games now with the VT80 4u in doubles and what can I say, the saving in weight certainly has helped the performance near the net ten fold. The racket is so much easier manoeuvre, an absolute delight more so because I'm a vt80 3u user so the racket itself felt like I was holding a familiar racket but with the advantage outlined above. I was grinning like a Cheshire Cat during a few of the games. Performance from the rear of the court was great too, I could easily hit to the back of each corner without exhorting myself. The smashing was superb too I'm not sure how and where the weight saving is but it certainly doesn't feel like it's been removed from the head. For me I think I've found my perfect doubles partner I was using the Victor TK9000 for doubles and I hated that racket!!
Both my VT80s are strung@28lbs using BG80 Power.

For comparison this is the Victor TK9000
Oh and I'd like to add that I dont think it feels as stiff as the VT80

TK9000 should be much stiffer as the VT80. VT80 isn't really stiff also the spec says so.

    I disagree...
VT80 is definitely stiffer than TK-9ooo.

    Ummmm quick question.

I use a 3U headlight racket and I have no problems while doing baseline to baseline clears.

If I use a VT80 4U, will I need to use more effort in doing clears because of the extra weight in the head or will it be easier to do clears because of the extra weight?

Or is this a question that depends on my arm strength?

Mmmm.....maybe when you bend those two rackets, Vt80 seems stiffer but when you play, the vt80 bends more because of its head heaviness?

If u evaluate head heaviness while swinging the racket then stiffness evaluation will bcome subjective as not everyone has the same swing...

    So.....i'm going to go for a VT80 and I haven't decided if I wanted the 3U or 4U

I mostly play doubles matches but enjoy singles more.(So i'm looking for a racket that suits both)

I've only used a 4U racket once. which was the VT70 4U. It felt too light and I didn't really feel comfortable with it.
I have no problem with stiffness since I use a friend's Nanospeed9900 and arc8dx and have no problem with using them.

But what makes me choose between 4U and 3U is that i'm not sure if I can handle the Stiffness + 3U + Head heaviness.....
But I haven't tried Stiff + Head heavy either.....the most head heavy i've tried is a 305+- balance racket with a medium stiff shaft which was pretty nice but I could feel too much flex on it.

What should I go for? :/
    I could also go for a VT70 ETUNE for around a similar price....if I get a etune i'd probably buy a 3U version since I didn't like 4U VT70

Hmm... If you play more doubles than singles. I would buy a 4U version.

I play both while using a 4U VTZF2, I admit in singles at times its quite difficult to play around the net with a lighter racket or smash from the back. But these are minors things which I pick up on when I'm playing.

If you've only used a 4U once, keep trying more 4U rackets because some play well, and others dont.
