Nah, I don't mishit that often, usually I hit quite cleanly :) just mistimed my jump and was far too early, still was quite a powerful shot but ended up in a cracked racket :(

I'm surprised my racket is still going strong. My tuesday session was filled with racket clashes (some VERY hard). My baby is bleeding paint but thats it :).

    Hi All,

1 of my friend jz got a MY code MX80, played for 2nd day. Miss Hit by partner during double.

The serial code/paint drop instantly like a very cheap paint. Nonetheless, the frame at 8clock, paint and chip fall off too and can see the inner frame in grey color.

Wondering quality of victor is it so fragile compare to Yonex? I have been using Arc10, miss hit by partner frequently, although have paint drop by not that obvious until can see the grey color inner cone.

Anyone players that uses mx80 and facing the same experience are welcome to share. thanks.

Actually now my friend is really disappointed with... good reputation racket but built quality is not as per price paid....

Sounds like you got a fake one. Mine is super solid and the actual frame isn't grey - it's woven (as seen under the clear-coat). There were no big clashes, but so far the paint is in mint condition, which cannot be said of some other rackets...

Looks like there is two outcomes to this story:

    1. Your racket could be a fake, in which case this does not truly reflect the Victor brand.

    2. You've actually made up the story on this forum, and a Yonex fanboy making this up to steer people away from Victor rackets. (it's been done before on the forum)

    Pictures please!

he bought it from a local racket store in Malaysia where he usually buy his Yonex racket.

But the Yonex racket is original after clarification...jz 1st time bought victor since he tried 1 of his friend MX80 SG code...

Seem like MY code, Malaysia code with less quality?

    Just curious...

dimcorner, your MX80 chipping same like my friend MX80? same problem?

Yup. It was a hard clash thou. Mine is at top and bottom of frame. It is light gray underneath.

Just to be clear, usually the MX80 has a very high quality. Afaik no one had 'paint flaking off', dimcorner said it was a huge clash which created that big paint chip. And mine is still pretty much pristine, very little sign of use even after quite a few sessions and stringjobs. He must've gotten very unlucky or just not be entirely truthful about what caused those paint chips ;)
