as the runner-up of group D, TQ/ZYL will face the top of Group B (A1 vs C2 and B1 vs D2; A2 vs C1 and B2 vs D1), see no difference then....

OT: Feng Tianwei bt Kim Kyungah 4-2 to reach SF

Hold on, China still tops the group though.

According to my calculation, game counts CHN and DEN have similar difference.

Point difference, China stands at +17 and DEN stands at +15.

So Japan has to thrash Hong Kong to eliminate Denmark no ??????

OHHHH yeah sorry my mistake, Japan still cannot go through because their game count is still low and at best just +1.

So yeah, correct me if i am wrong.

China tops the group with the point difference +17

while Denmark finishes as runners up with point difference +15.

Since both share the same wins and same game count difference.

This means that the two chinese pairs will meet in the semi if yu/wang win today... so no silver medals for china. What will yu/wang do ????

Win one game against the KOR no. 2 first, then.....hmmm...

Obvious in this scenario, China wont throw away the chance to get silver and gold over here.

Upsets galore in the Olympics, more to come? After what we've seen the last few days, nearly "nothing is impossible", some such things can only happen in the Olympics!?

if the group match results are positioned as such that one can't see the resulted gain/loss then your statement may possibly have some foundation ;)

That was riveting. Attackers fear such a great defender as Kim KA,the best female chopper in the world, who returns practically everything you throw at her and saps your energy;it's the only time table-tennis makes you sweat like hell, for the attacker esp.
