Please don't drag Saina Nehwal here for the sake of your explaination. She will never be going to represent China nor she is in the world # 15 rank at present. So, please don't drag other country's players for the sake of explaining the act of withdrawals and retirements from china players.

Your explainations are totally wrong. Its like " I will do whatever i can. You don't have any rights to stop me doing that. We are superpowers" Isn't it?

I use saina nehwal bcoz depleter comes from india, and very likely he/she idolize nehwal. Let see what is the fans reaction if their idol can not go to WC just bcoz country limitation, and let see if they have different answer, if the victim is not the same. How about you ? Just answer my question : if saina nehwal from china and only # 15 can not go, is this fair ?

You are completely want to change the topic out from here by simply dragging everybody by calling their idols name and fitting those as if you needs. This thread is completely based upon some players' cheating on badminton for the past years. We people are very much interested in badminton and we never accept those malpractices ever happen to badminton. Thats the beauty of this thread which wanted to eradicate the malpractice in general. Do you keep on insist that these practices are good to badminton for ever???

Facts already proved that when the regulation is quite fair, only 1 ret or w/o within 116 matches...so if BWF wants to reduce the # of w/o or ret when chn vs chn, simple, set again the 2001 WC regulation. It's silly that member (ROW fans) in here only criticize china and not criticize BWF. That's bcoz their idol is very hard to win major title even though china suffers the most by BWF's unfair regulation

The topic has become unnecessarily wildly speculative. Back to reality please.

This is quite simple.. Walkovers between players and unnecessary retirements won't help badminton in any case. So, for the well being of the sport and to protect its sovereignity , i request BWF to come up with some solutions to curb those who misuse the regulations. Already, BWF has eradicated the wrong line judgements in some countries by trying to introduce sophisticated cameras to look after the line calls :). I appreciate their work and i also insist BWF to come forward with an excellent back-up plan to eradicate intentional walkovers as well.:)

i have done that and posted. the post was been ignored because plenty of outer space reply.
now i am unmotivated because the thread is on the border of get locked.

yup,i think i will abandon this thread since the bwf is co cruel and forcing cba todo dirty tricks!
ouch, better bwf cancel all international tournament, woohoo!:p

mod can consider to lock it then i will open a new thread for the current year walkover and retired.
    to fight destruction,we contribute.

Any idea what the percentage of walkover is, using the amount of time they played against each other?

I.e china v china played each other 2006-2013 e.g 200 times with 70 walkovers so that would be 35% walkover rate. (disclaimer!! Just made these figures up)

To see that figure compared with other countries % in the same way would be more accurate.

Yeah for sure. I know this is just a record thread so will not say too much but I think that is definite proof beyond reasonable doubt.
In reality is nothing can actually be done about it. Each case has to be taken on it's own merit, if they say they injured/ill and an on site doc can't prove completely otherwise(impossible) then there is nothing that can be done, in fact it would be totally against ethical health and safety to try and bring this figure down.

CHN players participate in tournaments as a team

    .
It's well-known that LYB sends CHN players to participate in tournaments as a team. What we termed as "match-fixing" is bound to happen - because there is nothing wrong for teammates helping each other (as a team).

Only when CHN allow their players to participate as individual players (allowing them to fight each other with their best skills), then we will find less walkovers given by CHN players to teammates.

This is also one of the reasons why many are not keen to watch matches played between CHN players (even when they play); they know it can be artificial - 'stage-acting'.

Thanking limsy for providing the statistics for us to know.
