That's what i meant... didn't u read my posting above??? < Runner-up, itself, is also very rewarding. I am not making excuse, there is no need to make excuse. why should i??? I am equally proud of him whether he won the title or not. > I am proud of him for god sake....whether he becomes a winner or runner-up.
Yes...I AM POSITIVE ABOUT ppl not into badminton. Although ydl has improved the image of badmiton after obtaining gold medal, badmiton is far behind compare to soccer, baseball, basketball. If u get a chance to talk with ydl or any other player from korea u might want to ask him or her the badminton status in Korea. He actually said it for himself in some interviews that badmintons is not popular sports in korea. Or if u do not have chance to talk with korean player, just ask any korean u know. It's pretty bad. Last yeosu international event a lot of seats were empty. Korean do play badminton but mostly old generation. They play but they are not really into watching player compete in the competition. it's like you may run on the trademill but u don't really enjoy watching marathon. I am sorry but Who is PSH and LHI??? I wanna make it clear. I think some ppl in this forum think that I am distrub by ydl not winning the tournament. Well, let me make it really clear. No!!!! plz, I understand him perfectly. He can lose. He's not a god. He is a human being. There is of course a losing moment as well as winning moments. Yes, he can makes mistakes. Let's say if Lee cheng wei had a cold and happend to lose at the final. As a fan of leecheng wei, i can just say "oh,,,he's been sick and he lost. " This doesn't mean that "oh he would have absolutely won the title if not been sick". rather,"he could have played better if he was not sick, but not neccessary winning the tournament " So what is wrong about me telling yd had gone through difficult time after olympics??? Is it because of cultural differences that few pple don't understand what I am trying to say??? or is it because of english that makes it hard for u to understand my words??? I hope ppl who have been misunderstanding my words can finally understand my intention of the words.
where u from???korea???and u dont know psh and lhi????i think u should have gain more knowledges...and didnt direct ask tat in forum......
I didn't know u were talking about korean player. I was trying very hard to think of player from other country who has actually attend super series final. Of course I know. Pask sung hwan!!!!
moscow, u have a point, that badminton is consider a low profile sports in korea.. even before beijing OG,korea players do win gold, silver medal in OG but they still did not gain much attention from the public.. yong dae's popularity is most probably because of his nice look + gold medal.. his cyworld mini hompi viewership increased from 20K++ to 30million just in few months times (one of the proof) in contrast of hyo jung that have accumulation of 3million++.. korea netizens do condemm hyo jung by saying things like she's old to be paired up with yong dae etc... before OG,yong dae says b4 that nobody will recognise him when he's on the steet.. but now he's popularity is just a bit behind korea heartrobe park tae hwan...
Thx jigglypuff for the nice pictures From the above pictures, the only word I would use to describe LYD is handsome.. haha... He is every girl's dream man
in china, yong dae is considered one of the most popular atheletes of korea,as well as yuna kim, they all have so many fans in china.Maybe chinese ppl don't have a good impression on korean ppl(especiall on the net),but they love YD and YUNA.
kim yuna and mao asada!! my figure skate favourite.... (sorry to be out of topic >_< )) suetyan, you are welcome...^^ i am watching the Famous Princesses k-drama now, i keep thinking that lee seung gi is yong dae...lolxx can't differentiate them at times...both so nice looking...haha
