Hi there. I recently purchased a Voltric 80 Peter Gade edition from an official Yonex supplier in Canada. However, I just noticed that it is missing a decal at the top of the frame. The racquet is barely used and has no structural faults, cracks, etc. Just wondering, could something like this be claimed for warranty? A design blemish? As a student, it was a challenge to get the money to buy the racquet, although I do enjoy it quite a bit. However, seeing this small fault brings me some discomfort, as though I won't be getting a product which I paid so much for (with my own money). Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

    Hi!
I feel sorry for your bad luck! Did you got it pre-strunged or just frame, take some pics and show us.

    Hi there,

This is a picture of the missing graphic. It's missing a tribal print at the top near the ISOMETRIC text. I had bought only the frame and the store owner strung it for free. He owns a licensed Yonex store and it is a CD coded racquet, so for sure it is not a counterfeit. Please help!

Do you have legislation in your country that allows you to:

    1) return goods to store within a certain time?
and/ or 2) return due to a defect? ( I would say this is a defect on such an expensive racket).
    3) Speak to shop keeper and see what they say, s/he may assist you with the matter if he is reputable dealer.
    4) Write to yonex telling them of this issue and see what they do?

    Hi there,

    1. The store HAS a return policy, however, it is voided with the free stringing included with the purchase of the racquet. In that sense, I have voided it :(

2/3. The store owner has close ties with a Yonex Canada official, and I will try to discuss with him this defect. I was not sure if this would be considered a defect, but thanks for reinforcing my opinion :)

suggest to check the policy carefully as you are not planning to return the racket but instead ask for a replacement or exchange... right?

The racquet has been sent back to Yonex Canada. Now all I can do is wait...

Look what arrived after only 6 days all the way from Hong Kong! (Usually my packages take 2-3 weeks...!, MBS ftw :p)

Sunrise sticker was peeling a bit on arrival, so I took it off. Serial code seems legit :)
    It's a 4UG5 with ZM65.

Is yours stiffer than regular VT80? Mine's noticeably heavier and stiffer than my local shop's 4UG4 US code VT80 regular. My VT80PG is from MBS and 4UG5, SP code. Weight can vary from 80-84g from manufacturing inconsistencies, I suppose.

Got mine yesterday and strung today. It seems like there's an air bubble under the paint coating :( I guess it makes it even more unique. I only got the PG version cause the normal VT80 was more expensive than the PG version on MBS lol.

Played with it today as well and it felt great, so much power and so loud.

VT80PG-Owners, where are your photos? I'm sure there are some more owners here ;)

btw: Is 3U much tiring than 4U? I've never got the chance to test the 3U version of VT80 since there's no 3U VT80 for Switzerland :-S

What did you want to see that my pics didn't cover? :p
My 3U ZF isn't much more tiring. But it has a thicker grip, which changes things a little. To me, G5 feels a lot more tiring than G4, but more precise.

I got the 3UG5 VT80 since I want to smash from the rearcourt. The 4U really doesn't have the power for me to get out of trouble sometimes.

Also, I paired my VTPG with BG80 and it sounds awesome.
