My coach's supplier lent me a brand new Apacs Furious 633 the other day. It's a new model and I was lent the prototype for testing. He said that if the reviews for the racket were good, he would bring in more of the model for wide-scale distribution. Have throughly tested it out and will post pictures and a review up soon. Really awesome-looking racket! Note, this is newer than the NanoSaber7, which I have also had the luck to test out.
prototype? hmmnnn.......... he model name maybe will be different form u use after launching in the market
Apacs Furious 633 It is really a nice racket. Can safely say that it's in a totally different level from the NanoSaber 7. In terms of performance for me, I think that this Apacs racket is in a class of its own compared with other rackets from Apacs. At least, that's just my personal opinion. To each his own?
well,i just found that that the nano900 power(copy of AT900-T)turns out to be a great powerful racket, after it breaks in.
break in .. Hi Smichz, what do you mean by break in ? If I'm not mistaken you also own kason carbon 3.0 right, how does the apac 900 power compare to it ? and last, what string and tension do you use ? Thanks ..
"break in" i meant was about when u have ur brand new racket,u have to play sometime before it gets "repulsive".Esp the shaft. The flexibility n repulsion of the shaft. Yup..u got it rite.Hmm..the stringers n the strings r different,so i guess it's hard to really compare them.Well..i guess each one got their own good n bad. Both of them were strung at 26X24 lbs,by two different stringer. My kason uses BG65ti,n my Apac 900 power uses NBG95.The tension on my apacs 900 power felt much harder than my kason 3.0.The stringer of my kason 3.0's bad. All i can say is this.. They're both affordable n in the same price range.Bought them both each around 300RMB,or 40 USD.But they both worthed. The shaft stiffness is similar. The 900 power is slightly head heavier than the kason 3.0. My kason 3.0's (3U) control n maneuverablity felt much better than the apac.Easier to defense.Power..according to my experience of having this kind of racket twice, this racket is also a monster. It's just that the current tension was poor,so i can't really beat out the power out of it.Wait till i restring next time."..an all round racket.Good for both offensive n defensive" My Apac900power(4U)..filled with power.Defense r harder than the 3.0,since the head is heavier.29.5cm,while the 3.0 is only around 28-28.5cm.Smashes filled with power,so does clears.Controls?..not bad i would say. It's just that my kason 3.0 got a better one.I also very satisfied with the paint job. It's one of the racket that its paint would last long."An offensive racket."..Too good to be a 4U.I was thinking that it was probably meant to be a 3U. Why bro?Thinking of getting one of them?
Thanks, I didn't know that racket also has a break in period Initially I thought you are refering to the string. hahaha. Yes, the intention of getting the racket did cross my mind, ( that racket does look good), and its also quite cheap. Once I saw it was on sale two racket, a bag, strings and grip @ RM200 ?? My only concern is its playability, and also errr what to do with my current racket ??? Vision Hollow and the nano fusion series are also tempting ...
I just try out the Apacs nano800 armo frame very powerful .........with 28lbs bg 80 very nice , cheap a powerful value for money
Lifted extract below from mybadmintonstore.com: "...Grip Size is the Circumferencial Thickness of a Grip Handle (with the original leather grip on) Hi-Qua / Tactic G2 - 3.25 inches Yonex G2 - 4.00 inches Hi-Qua / Tactic G3 - 3.50 inchesYonex G3 - 3.75 inches Hi-Qua / Tactic G4 - 3.75 inches Yonex G4 -3.50 inches Hi-Qua / Tactic G5 -4.00 inchesYonex G5 -3.25 inches ..." I'm not entirely sure about this, but suspect that APACS grip-sizing is aligned with the left-hand-column (Hi-Qua / Tactic)... I hope this helps...
Hey ppl, anyone has or tried the AP700?How does it feel?Is it cloning the new colour or the old colour AT700?Some ppl in china who bought/tried it said it is good.WHat do u think?
AP700 is in the colour scheme of the new AT700. Have never played it, though, so can't comment on that aspect...
