Sealion used to be the most popular, and could still be among the most popular, but I think fewer and fewer people use Sealion now. I am in Penang, and I hardly see anyone using Sealion nowadays, most people use RCL. In Selangor and KL, maybe Sealion still very popular, but Protech and RSL are quite popular too.

Anyway, no point arguing, let us vote on this :)

My friend gave me a new model called RCL Gold No.1 to test out last nite. The shuttle flied pretty good. Durability-wise might not be as good as RCL Titanium but it still lasted us two 21-point games per shuttle. The price is cheaper than RCL Titanium.

Try RCL Royal.... pretty good in terms of durability and consistency... also quite affordable at RM53 only. We have been using Yonex AS30 for abt a year and on average we use abt 1 shuttlecock per 21 points game coz we hv many heavy smashers here... This RCL Royal can last us for 1 game too....

if you order more than 50 tubes from RCL, they will give you "exclusive" model, which is not available in any other store... but... the shuttlecocks is still the same..... you can even tell them how u wanna name the model....

I tried RSL Classic and RCL T1000,since people keep recoomended me RSL Classic then I buy it to compare with RCL T1000.What can I say is,RCL T1000 is way much better in term of quality, durability and flight/speed.I think its wasting for me to get RSL Classic.

hehe... ya... i saw in other forum there is ppl commenting tis too...
saying it is betta than RSL Classic...

too bad Mr Yip doesnt wanna try it... :(
i felt tat the Sealion u guys using wasnt tat great in terms of the hitting feeling... although it is quite durable...
anyway... its slightly cheaper than titanium... so no harm anyway ^^
maybe when he tried the RCL No.1 he will like it... IF he wanna try la... lol

Yes. I still want to try RCL titanium (Speed 76) and will be contacting you in 2 weeks time. Can I know is the RCL titanium shuttlecock same as those selling in Ipoh? I think I got some old RCL Supreme, diamond and No.1 during my visit in Penang. Tested all 3 models yesterday and only lasted about 2 set of 21 points game per shuttle with 60% hard hitting.:D

    RCL No 1_Singapore

After my previous post on RCL Perfect which did not really impress me.
Source promised me a trial on RCL No 1 which is suppose to be the top end range.
    Flight
: cannot feel much difference, comparable Sintec 818.
Speed: Initially found it to be fast but used to it after some time.
Durability: Easily last up to 1.5 game of considerable smashes. The base stem is still intact and strong compare to Sintec 818. I believe it can last up to 2 games for normal games w/o too much hard smashes.
Problem is my group like to change a shuttle everytime they start a new set regardless the shuttle condition.

    IHMO
Overall , I feel the RCL No 1 is definitely a better grade than Sintec 818.
This is cetainly a good buy if supplier can bring down the price further to be in $28 range. Sintec 818 bulk buy is at $25. I will go for RCL No 1 if the difference is $2 to $3.

    RM64 or RM65 is a good buy.
    2.4 exchange = SIN$27.
RCL No 1. is impressive ...way way better than RCL Perfect.
Used shuttles is in good shape for next warm up game.
