Nope, I only have one SW35 at the moment, I sold the other to another member of my club, as he liked it so much, so my current back up SW35 is in the post, then it will be off to the stringer, then into my racket bag. has anyone got any ideas on where to purchase grommets for the SW35 ? Mine are still in very good condition, but as the tension is increasing I think the grommets will eventually become quite poor in the next 8-10 months.
IMHO, 1) if you play recreational, 2 of the same should be enough. Rotate them so they will be used evenly and grow old together. 2) if you play local tournaments more than 2 time a year, you will need 3. 2 for regular use and 1 for just in case of bad luck on 2 miss hit in 1 day. 3) If you play/train often and plays a lot of tournaments, you should have 4. 3 to rotate and 1 as back up when you just don't have time to restring your racquet on the day before. 4) Collectors, whatever...
I would sell a racket from my collection if I had more than one & it was one I will never use (eg wooden/rare cab20 etc..) I wouldn't sell one which I only has one of though (unless it had limited appeal to me). Money doesn't come into it for me, the regret of selling a racket that is irreplaceable or of significant interest would be more pain than the money was worth. Yup. some people don't understand why you need more than one of any racket, some people have 5+ of the same rackets over & over. I think for the rackets you play with you should keep the same. It improves your game immensely to use the same rackets as you are used to the timing & can find the sweet spot. I find even in 2 ISO head racket with similar balance/length & weight the exact sweet spot can be in different places (higher or lower. Changing different racket types makes it harder to play consistently.

How about you give me your "Never"-used TC700 and I'll take good care of it.. c: j/k. I'll save up to buy two TC700's and.. I also want to try a TC500 and a TC300 ><
I normally buy 3 rackets of the specific model that I am currently using and have them all strung and gripped the same way.
That's actually the stash of one of our Youth Olympics particpants, Yonex sponsored naturally . I have considered buying 10 Arc10's with discount one time and keep 5 but like Danstevens said it really depends on how much you play and what level. At the moment I don't even need 5 so 2 would be a good number from a just playing socially point of view (I like to have 3 and keep 1 unstrung; barely break strings let alone racquets ) but in line with the question if it's your absolute favorite racquet: more than 5!
Hmmm now that you mention it . Actually that was still in the launch year but I think they only had G3 available at the time. Maybe I should have a look at a Z-Slash switcher's leftovers . I've set a €100 limit for myself nowadays and so far managed to stick to it .
I own 4 pieces of my favourite racket. Why? Because I have sweaty palm, and its pretty bad, so I rotate between the four of them which have towel grip on... It kinda prolong the life of the towel grip
Most naturally, hobbyist and enthusiast alike will own 2 in general (the most likely scenario) because aside from the racket we consider best for our style of play, we also have other rackets inside our bag, thus, 2 of each kind would suffice and 3 absolutely is a charm (for collection; really.)! Remember, the ''Always'' (primary racket; could be 1 piece or a set of 2 or even 3 rackets), ''Seldom'' (secondary/backup racket; again, could be 1 piece or a set of 2 or 3 rackets) & ''Never'' (tertiary/off-site racket; lastly, could be another extra piece or 2 or 3 rackets) Rule applies quite nicely when owning more rackets than we actually need.
