Hi.. i will go Bangkok next week. Anyone can help me update the latest price of YY nanospeed 9900, Z-slash, Arc 7 and 10? Besides, which is the best shop to have the best bargain? Apart from this, do the rackets come with free strings? Thanks.

Check the posting above, though the prices fluctuates, it is not by much.

The price for all the high end yonexes at First Sports and Sports Marketing should be around 4200 - 4500.

The 300 baht difference is US$10 ? Not really that significant since you are already saving alot by buying from Bangkok.

Strings are sold separately but again, the price is really cheap, around 220 baht and that's strings+labour !

    Good price as usual !

Though stringing is cheap in BKK, alot of the places don't string about the max tension listed on the racquets.

First Sports uses a manual crank machine and they told me it cannot go above a certain tension.

I was told by my friends that upto the end of Sept 2010, most authorized Yonex shops in Bangkok malls are giving out special discount in sportwear & shoes except rackets. Yonex competition t-shirts are priced at Bt190 instead of Bt599, while various of Yonex shoes priced between Bt 1,000 - Bt 1,999. Too bad i can't be in Bangkok during this month!

PS: I have no idea if the discount is available for unauthorized Yonex shops behind National Stadium.

Personally I prefer the friendly service at Sports Marketing. If you check prices with the lady at First Sports, she seems quite reluctant to tell you the prices.

Usually I purchase yonex racquets from Sports Marketing and visit First Sports only to check out the Gosen racquets.

Hi, do you mean. ARC-Z with Taufik Hidayat signature on it? or ARC-Z with TH-coded on the shaft? Do you happen to check the price for AT-900P Lee CW model?

Have you tried bargaining down the racket price at Sports Marketing? I recalled the last time i went to purchase BS11 4U at Sports Marketing, the worker stated the price of Bt 4,500 with no discount whatsoever, but then i asked my thai gf to bargain directly at the big boss there whom sat on table.. and he immediately gave the final price of Bt 3,500 excluding string! well,.. Bt 1,000 off just for the first bargaining. But i have no idea if this could happen for foreigners.
