But the sad thing is not on MK/HS, but on unreadiness of Bona/Ahsan, and still long way to go for Rian/Angga.

    yes, quite sad about that.....
but everything will be different after olympics i guess....
no need to have some hope on bona/ahsan on olympic, we dont have any hope at all...
except, there is a miracle like what kindra did in the asian games.
what we have to think is about 2016 olympic games. dont make a new mistake.
    prepare for the regeneration.
now we have rian/angga, and ahsan/partner, the coach should do something to our youngster, i think make some new pair after 5 tourney or so is good to find the best pairs if the previous pairs do not give any result....

Frankly, I am surprised by their slump. In fact, it could almost be called a collapse rather than a slump. Although they did recover some form during the SEA Games - but the opposition were not the best then.

I thought after their Asian Games victory, and with Sigit Pamungkas quitting PBSI and concentrating on them only, it would be the start to better things.

Lack of focused training and intensive physical stamina build-up are probably two of the biggest factors contributing to this INA pair's downfall.

While pairs like Fu/Cai and Jung/Lee continue to push themselves even further after they won titles after titles, Kido/Hendra are contented to just let it be and have no desire or motivation whatsoever to strike an even better result for themselves (such as winning an All-England title).

And also, their marriages last year probably also played some part.

Beside Taufik i think only kido/Hendra is indonesia's badminton player with much respected in the world badminton because of their long history of achievement, so this situation is very saddened.
And even now Taufik who also had bad record for few years back seems to bounce back again because of his motivation, kido/hendra still in their bad condition.

Lack of focus, stamina, motivation and discipline make their game plan very very lazy style now.
And watching Chai/Fu and Jung/Le yong dae great performance, i think Kido/Hendra is already far far left behind them.

So sad to say, but i think Kido/Hendra is (Great) History now.....

Sigh, so, its 100% confirmed Kido/Hendra cannot get into top 8 with their defeat in Swiss? Truly deserving of the OG,WC,AG title. Fu/Cai and LYD/Jjs are still pushing hard as they are hungry for the OG title and its their last chance, at least for 3 of them

Sorry OT, but what you describe of them reminds me of another pair from MAS. Only that no one from MAS overtook them. Damn lucky.

it's not looking good for kido/hendra's olympics qualification.
we still have 3 t'ments to go, australia GPG, the BAC and the India SS.
if they can get the runner's up for the australia and the BAC and the SF for the India, they are almost certain to go to London.

According to a newspaper in Indonesia, Kidho has decided to play only in Australia. If it is true, that means they have given up playing in Olympic

Kido is probably more interested in pocketing the prize money for the Axiata Cup, which would be enough for him.

At their present state, they'll just be cannon fodder anyway to the top pairs. They'll need to be back at the AG level at the very least to compete.

Guys, do you think kido and hendra would/should split after OG2012?
I especially see that there is still a lot of possibility with Hendra if partnering with younger one.
Who do you think would fit best with Hendra? For me:
    1. Hendra S/Alvent. The most possible one since they both pro player.
    2. Hendra/Ahsan. The best combination. I guess.
    3. Hendra/Pia
    4. Hendra/Bona

There is no need for Wild Card ...if you are not good...you dont deserve to go there..also Kido's wife insisted that her husband should be on her side when she delivers....Hendra was quite frustrated...anyway...we will see it in few weeks....for now..Hendra is focusing on Thomas/Uber preparation and trying to pair with Ahsan for that event
