Why do you favour BS LYD to mx60? Meteors have great head stability. From what I read on other threads I depicted BS LYD divides opinions... some say is not as powerful as the meteors.
This is the trouble of recommending rackets - one persons ideal isn't necessarily the same as the next. I have the MX80, 70, London, 60 as well as BS LYD, 9, 10, 11 & 12. The MX60 is my go to as without doubt it is the best suited to me - I prefer medium flex with weight in the head! Having said that I do like the LYD, just not as much!
just want to ask, does anyone mx80 the grip is not stick with the holder? it can move freely, because this caused my overgrip on it and moved together..so now solve with using masking tape on the original grip then put another overgrip on it
Yeah, mine had this problem too. Had to fix it by putting some double sided tape under the factory grip. Somehow Victor didn't use enough glue.
Don't know about NS9900. But in my opinion MX80 is stiffer than VTZF. Or at least the same stiffness. Definitely not less. I'll re-check tonight when I play tonight (with my VTZF and friends MX80...both 3U).
MX80 definitely plays stiffer than ZF. Shaft might be same stiffness or stiffer, bigger headweight of the ZF makes it easier to bend...
Okay, thanks. I was just curious how the mx80 would stack up to the bs10 since there are different versions (ummm asian and american... etc?) I thought my bs10 was weird since it is stiffer than like all the yonex rackets while other people said it was flexible
It is pretty stiff. I was worried when i first got mine (jumped from a medium flex right to this), but after about a week of pain and training, i think i've tamed it (I don't feel pain at least, idk about how effectively i'm drawing power out of it)
BS10 is stiff. Ppl who say it's flexible have no clue what they're talking about. The MX80 is noticeably stiffer and more stable though - I got mine hoping they would be something of a next-generation-BS10, but the difference is very noticeable. Nothing like BS09 and 12 in that regard Well the MX80 is the stiffest racket I've held in my hands so far. It felt stiffer than the ZF, but that was not tested in an objective manner (like putting a weight on the head or sth^^). How demanding it is depends on string used, tension, and intensity of training. For me, it's too hard on the arm as I usually play/train 4-5 times a week and string rather tight for my skill level.
Even if I put 3g of weights on my MX80 frame, it will still play stiffer than my VTZF. The MX80 is one mother of a stiff racket!
Mx 80 Cool... a lot of review over here says MX 80 more stiff.... Definitely MX 80 can string up to 30 tension and cheaper than Z force... I will support MX 80 due to Korea culture and liking of korea players than yonex... Z force more expensive...
Thanks! I might be getting a mx80 just to try it out and perhaps use it for singles? Do you think a transition from bs10 to mx80 would be good?
