The date code has a relation to the serial number and vice versa.

In this case it's an instant giveaway because none of the 2006 rackets started with a 2, for 2 million, when it was 5.Xmil (I know it was 9, possibly 8 too), to 6.X mil +

Probably better sense if this is moved to the Ebay auction watch.

Well, you know people who fall for it could be naive because for the price.

Yeah I know. I'l keep it here just now because I don't know how to move it and this item only has 16 hours left. Maybe I should put the seller on ebay auction watch ? !

think about it this way, you're not saving money by getting counterfeits, you're wasting them and most likely overspending since these fakes do not cost too much to produce.

Ofcourse. I have certain extreme ideas about what to do with frauds that are illegal in 99% of all countries :D. But some people have to learn the hard away they have no business being on ebay looking for a bargain that rationally speaking can't be true yet too tempting to resist and bid on them anyway .

Like this one for instance: http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-YONEX-NANOS...ryZ83050QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

    $40 for a nanospeed 9000 haha and $12 shipping

Ofcourse it's fake. To even ask for a serial is a waste of time "someone". "hualang" from Japan, yeah right :D (could be an imigrant ofcourse but still ...). I see the link I posted is already invalid but I'm pretty sure it's the same seller. Just created an account and zero feedback . Just look at the rest of the items. All different pictures and even sells a Nanospeed 800 & 900
