...and along the way Boe/Mogensen beat Paaske/Rasmussen - a sign of things to come, perhaps?
Kenneth was good value despite losing to Peter, and actually had three game points in the second game.
Shot of the tournament for me was Tazari's reverse sliced drop against Boe/Mogensen (if you were there, you'll know which one I mean), whilst my prize for the best kitted-out team goes to the Malaysian squad - immaculate and colourful!
There were also awards presented to Tine Rasmussen and (soon to retire?) Mette Scholdaeger for (I'm guessing here) DBF Player of the Year and Career Achievement(? sorry - couldn't understand all the Danish).
Altogether a nice tourny to watch - everyone is happy and you can sit right up close to the action.

I think the currency of prize money is DKK, Danish Krone.

yes tine rasmussen got awarded the national player of the year . And Mette Schjoldager was celebated for her career and good results. So yes you got the Danish right...
as to some one else asking about the prize money (i wrote the checks - soooo sorry for the poor handwriting!) it was in Danish Krones DKK... it's around $6000 for the first place at the men's singles and the women's singles.

another thing - petya nedelcheva was really feeling poor. Couldn't walk! it's the iskias nerve... and she had something similar two years ago - was in hospital for one month and couldn't move!!

and yes i became Annie suddenly - i held the prize ceremony... it was so much fun!!

got Xu's shirt! I will take a photo - and upload all the photos (there are ot many i'm so sorry - i was busy aaaaall the time) soon!

well Anne's out and lumping - a spreen ancle!

I guess many people are on holiday mood, that's why there are not many followers on this. I happen to see some final matches in Genting. Well done to the Danish players.:D
