I strung my AT900P with BG 66S in 26x28 lbs. But i totally dun like the feeling. Dun know why. :( :(

BG 66S and NBG 98 is selling same price in JB/SG, which is 1.5 times of the price of BG 80. So i would like to cont to use BG80.

    Thx for your suggestion.

Man, be very careful with that tension. My 3rd gen's string sunk(almost the same level with frame surface) into the frame at 7 O'clock.

If the stringer is a pro, the 3U Ti-10 3rd.gen should be able to withstand about 30 lbs

Of course be careful when playing. Once upon a time, the opponent lift the shuttle high. As you get excited, you'd gladly step back, raise your arm, and then swing it as hard as possible

    There are 2 option :
Option A : a very powerful smash is released and you win that rally
Option B : a very powerful misshit on the 30 lbs strung Ti-10 3rd.gen Frame..... imagine the rest of the story T_T

String tension for my 2U 1st gen SP coded Ti10

May I ask if my 2U 1st gen SP coded Ti10 can take the tension from 26lbs to 30lbs? FYI, currently I have it stringed with CBG100 at 24lbs (even though the maximum tension as noted on the racket is only 22lbs) and my 2U JP ARC-Z stringed with CBG100 at 30lbs.

26lbs shouldn't be a problem at all for the 2U 1st gen Ti10. Although for my case I would recommend a very thin and repulsive string to complement the huge controllability/stability of the racquet design which IMHO the racquet sort of begs for. I have tried 24lbs BG65 Power with my 2U 1st gen and felt that it wanted to be swung fast and hit hard all the time.

I'm going for BG66 Maxima at 24lbs ECP soon with mine.

Per Yonex string chart, CBG100 is 0.70mm thin as same as BG65 Power and marked at 8 for repulsive a bit higher than BG65 Power which is marked at 7. So do you think CBG100 is thin and repulsive enough?

well CBG is designed to give the user a feeling as natural and comfortable as possible, an excellent hit feeling when you hit the birdie. For CBG name is Cyber Natural

it depends on what YOU can tolerate.
String tension is relative to YOUR power.
since no one here knows how strong you are, i recommend 22 pounds with BG80 (repulsive string).
    22 pounds for beginners.

I have tried Ashaway's MicroPower on my Ti 10 (3rd gen), I found it give me more power when I do the smash, also it has great durability.

Depends on the weight of your racket. If it is 3U, I prefer BG85. Use BG80 with a 2U racket. Tension is very personal.

    I have a Ti-10 3rd gen 3u

    I have tried:
NGB98 at 26/28 (ok, not too bad but a little hard, lots of power if hit dead on)
NGB98 at 25/27 (much better, lots of power)
Ashaway ZyMax 67 main, 62 cross at 26/28 (about as much power as ngb98, more bite on string)

I'm currently on the ZyMax blend so I'll report later on about durability.

The NGB has lasted a long time (3 months+) and I cut the string because I wanted to try different tension, not because it broke.
I play doubles about 3 days per week for about 3 hours each day.

I recommend BG66Maxima. Best sting for Ti10 in my opinion.

There is no best tension. Whatever you think you can handle should be it. I normally play in the 26-28lbs region but it's just me. My wife is in the 25lbs region.

OH! My bad :). I it think it's pretty low. Like 18-23lbs for a 3u or something like that.
