Rather interesting that the ratings for R4X110 (pointed out by Matt) doesn't really fit into the ratings of the other 3 strings. Even the recommended tension is noticeably different from the other 3.

Just strung my racket with the R4X 100 at 24/26lbs, I really like the feel and power. I didn't smash full power cuz the string might break easily.
Clears and drops feel really great, lots of grip with the rough texture on the string, sounds crispy (24/26 sounds like 30/32). If I were to play singles again, this would be the string I would use.:)

Very surprised how well the 0.63mm string plays. 9+

Not recommended for Smashing Double players, durability is poor.

Yes, after I break the R4X100, which is probably in a day or two...:D

    I have the R4X 200 & 300, thanks to mybadmintonstore.

    I will write a review later on the 200 & 300.

I just re-strung my new ti-10 with this R4x200 at 27Ibs. Previously I'm using the BG-65 at 27Ibs. I'm quiet surprise that the surface/coat of this string is "extremely" rough.

Will give a commend about this new string after tomorrow game play.

Great stuff, these Gosen strings seem interesting, any updates, especially on the 0.63mm one, how is the durability? Broken it yet Viper?

I tried the R4X200 strings. It is not as good as it claims to be. The strings move around the string bed as it does not seem to bite well into tne string bed. For the same reason, you would need to straighten out your strings here and there.

In the end, I went back to Gosen Pro 66 shortly afterwards.

    Interesting!
I want to try R4*110 with high tension on it, probably at 27lbs.
    I usually go with 25lbs.

Doesnt compare. R4X110 is inferior to R4X100 and R4X200.

Only R4X100 can be compared to Zymax62. The rest are unique in their own ways.

    @Kwun

It has been a long time since i ve used both of them. As far as i can remember, they have the same characteristics and durability. Not sure if Gosen still produces R4X100.

I certainly do not like R4X110. The string has a flaky coating that frays very easily. Hard feeling and coarse surface similar to BG80. Nice to string though. Has good power but loses out to BG80. The feeling is somehow weird. Feels very pathetically synthetic.

    I like quattro-fiber strings

the feeling is similar to fresh Yonex BG70 pro but R4x110 is thinner, more flexible, and lighter. I discover my self I really like quattro fiber after using R4x110.
it has good flexibility and feels like the string bites, and does not vibrates a lot at all.

I used it for 2 days total about 7hours. The first fresh feeling seems to water down at the last hour . now some parts peals off- I saw this before on a different string. That string did not last long. I guess this will also break off soon.

From my experience, I like BG70pro and Kason P75.

any recommendation for other quattro-fiber strings? how about Gosen R4X Inspire?

Anyone knows where I can find GOSEN Rxseries strings in Klang Valley area, Malaysia ?

After an absence of almost 30 years, I have decided to "return" to my first-love string brand - GOSEN, getting tired and fed up of seeing tons of Yonex fakes everywhere here in Malaysia and the originals being sold at rip-off prices ...

I am very interested in the R4x200 and Nanocubic ...
