I believe Yuki is stronger than she looks. She has quick feet and her play is deceptive.

Nozomi always seems to end up as the winner, even after tough matches. It is the hallmark of a champion.

All physical things being equal, it's the mental capacity that pushes a player across the finish line first. Noz seems to have the desire and mental toughness to pull through. Nonetheless, I've been very impressed with Fukushima and pleasantly surprised by Christin Tsai.

If cobalt had been on his toes, he could be 3 meals up on me already. But I knew he wouldn't bet against Sindhu so I was safe anyway :D

There are probably more Chinese players who may be better, but they won't be able to climb up the rankings, since I believe there is probably a maximum number of entries per country that are allowed to participate in the big tournaments. Unless WSX, WYH, WX and JYJ skip major events to allow the lower ranked China players to climb up, it's unlikely that they will end up in the top 10. So it's not that difficult an achievement for Nozomi.

The physical side is definitely not equal. Nozomi has calf muscles that would put a gymnast to shame. Probably the reason why she can glide around the court like a figure skater. Poor Yuki had to summon all her mental strength to try to right the imbalance.
You'll probably have to cover your eyes for the GS quarters if you're patriotic. No livestream?

Why not Sindhu? Was he also from the subcontinent? Is the history there only 4000 years?

Rat v Christin: I think Rat should be forced to play left-handed. Anyway, a foregone conclusion.
Romina v Carolina: The #2 seed Spaniard should advance comfortably
Noz v Sonia: All arrows point to a Noz win
Elyzabeth v Yuki: The INA girl looks to be in good form but it feels like Yuki is here for one more roundYuki

He was from Arrakis. His personal history was very confusing, but Arrakis is old, very old. :p
