U can check the catalogue which posted here earlier. They differentiate tension stringing lbs level btwn pro players (28 - 36lbs) & normal players like us (25 - 28lbs).
Friend, I only use 29lbs in the past 4 years .... Sadly, i do not even have 1% of LCW skill. Georgechongwei can thrash me 21-0, 21-0 in 5 minutes , and he is only strung at 25lbs (hope i am right). If following your theory, then i must go and string it to 36lbs so i can beat georgechongwei by just smashing like "siaokia" (Siaokia = Crazy fella in Hokkien) Joke aside, there is no such thing as higher tension u play better, or smash better, whether it is international level or social level. In China, i have seen social players that string up to 32lbs and play like ****, some even injured themselves due to high tension, and also some at 21-24 lbs but are very solid social players. It is the tension that suits you that matters, so that you can fully optimise your skills and the racket you use. Also the type of string matters too. BTW, there is no such rule as more than 28lbs means you are solid or pro players. definitely NO NO. Cheers
if you can handle the tension above 30lbs, why not to striing over? However in the real life now, i seldom see people string 30lbs above(I mean for normal player unless you are state or national player), the reason why here is, to show up the power of 30lbs, you required to train, it is not you hold a strong tension you can release the power, definitely not, i saw many people tried to string 30lbs, but end up, back hand all hit very soft, or forehand cannot even reach back court, so so dissapointed. the most important thing i guess is to carry the weight we really can handle, then just can maximize the performance. If can carry 26lbs easily, then should try out 27 and step by step, sure one day we can reach 30lbs.
After reading last few posts, i wonder for a moment if this thread is about 'string tension in Sports Life, Yonex Sunrise'?? For me, i strung at 27x28lbs and im comfortable with it. Try to go with the tension that suits your strength and style.
You can order from shuttle house + they got really fast shipping http://shuttle-house.com/new-cgi/page2_i.php?mk=YO&hid=BAG1002N&lan=e I'm sure you probably got one by now though
LOL man, bag thread jump to string thread cos stringing level catalogue was previously shown here. Tru, But w higher tension i can easily hit the shuttle to base line. I think frm 30lbs onwards, the string are easily broke esp when u hit hard on cock. Wonder when the ALL New PRO TOUR EDITION BAG reach Msia shores? Vol 14? or wait till Sunrise can clear their old 2009 bag? The 2009 white bag normally used by women players if u all notice after i watch several match including the latest 2010 India GP Gold(lots of lalat flying when players serve... LOL man). I saw Alice live on TV at stringing counter. Sunrise staff had to travel often if not mistaken.
BAG9624-9 (9 racquet), BAG9624 (6 racquet) New range of bags that are closer to JP quality as compared to SP 'SUNR' models. This model with the 6 and 9 racquet version.
SUNR-8926 BT6 (silver) Silver colour version of the previously posted model in this thread somtime back.
Are you sure it is closer to JP quality? From what i can see.. yes there are some minor improvement. But JP's still rules.
Maybe I should rephrase them that these bags are an improvement or better quality as compared to the SUNR models. They are certainly taking the JP quality as a benchmark and working towards it. They have also received a number of complaints about their SUNR bags and request for exchanges from some customers. One of the issues is the material both internal lining and external are easily ripped and torn.
i prefer the white version with green strips...any idea when its coming to msia and spore....i am waiting quite some time now....i almost give up to buy other brand which comes with thermal protecting layer at the internal side..
Good to see that Sunrise has finally brought in these International versions of the yonex bags, which have been available in other countries.
