Sunday CCC CATS at MSAC on 02-Feb-2014 (A Short Report) . Here is a short report for our Sunday CCC CATS at MSAC on 02-Feb-2014, our 5th CATS this year. We thank trainees for removing themselves from our 'Booking List' when unable to attend; therefore opening up vacancies for new trainees wishing to join us. Trainees are now to begin ALL warm-up drills with these 2 strokes :- (1) "Low Service" (2) "Net Return" and then, continue with the other strokes of our set drills. Why? Because we need to train more on these first 2 strokes in a rally. For this CATS, we worked on : Chapter 9 Pushshot – (for Doubles) Some points to remember: * Use it when your opponents are at 'front-and-back' position, and when they are further apart. * To be effective, your 'point-of-impact' need to be at about shoulder-height. * When only able to make at lower 'point-of-impact', play the 'Lift' or the 'Netplay'. * Apply correct grip to control the 'shinning' of the racket-head. * Push your shot through the front player's 'rainbow'. * Do not 'push' too far (to where the back player can reach). * etc, etc, ......
