Peter had been wearing SHB-91M for many many years. I am surprised he switched in the last few months of his professaionl career.

I guess Peter need all the advantage he can get from a lighter pair of shoes to a new racquet :D. His final assault to the Olympics before he retires.

He's using Voltric Z Force. He should use F1MX to match his white/blue attire. Finally he switch his old shoe...

maybe he's getting ready for his 2012 attire (white/gold) that will match the f1 ltd which costs RM440 here while f1 MX only costs RM350 :S

i grabbed f1 mx for rm280 near my place in Taman Megah
86ex @ rm260, the front fitting is too tight, even though both are same size
tried 2 sizes for both models taking me almost half an hour
wanted to get the orange 86ex but in the end took f1 mx due to comfort

i even brought my small weight scale, 86ex is just 10-30 grams heavier than f1 mx, didnt exceed 300 grams (size US 9)

Hmm... I thought I replied this somewhere...
Is this a duplicate post or what?

He most likely is wearing a SHB-F1M (JP) instead of SHB-F1LTD (EX/SP).

By the way, SHB-F1LTD retail price is RM499.90
    What the....

one thing i noticed is that the F1 MX doesnt have the wave pattern insoles that the F1 LTD or 65FT has. But is an extra RM80 premium for it worth it? :S

New shoes SHB-F1RX and SHB-86LTD. I believe the SHB-86LTD will be comparable in quality to the JP SHB-65FT.

I think they look great! :D Especially the 86. They've also done a recolour of the VTZF, as I know you said you didn't like the original one. Picture on the Yonex website isn't zoomed in enough though, so I'm not sure if I like it or not. Doesn't look too great though :L

I saw the SHB F1 MX (Blue), and they actually look alright. The blue really adds to the look of the shoe. THe SHB F1 LTD looks pretty horrible. It is very plain.

the F1 MX looks wider too than the ltd , and i heard than the F1 ltd is wider than the 86ex. so it all depends on how it feels like when you wear them :D

Can anyone tell me how padded these shoes are? I have a pair of old yonex top end shoes 2/3 yrs old and especially on the bit that you pull back to get your foot in (the flap) there is no padding there what so ever. Also how much padding is around the ankle area? Is it thick and cushiony or really stiff and solid? The problem I have atm is that my asics running shoes are way more comfortable than my victor shoes - SH8500. Does the fact that these don't have a lateral claw improve their comfort?
