I read at JawaPos last week that Hendra said his Warrior-7 is too light.

if only USD 70 then it would be equal to RM 245 .... wow that's a big difference.

I think Kido and Hendra's rackets should be priced above the normal High end racket price range for flypower, maybe a new price level. Of course,i hope it will be priced,in the same price level.

this simply shows, once agaion, that if the olyumpics md gold medalists don't mind using under $90 rackets to play and if they could win titles with them, then that should end all converasations or questions on whether having a yonex or linning or expensive racket will help one win a game.the answer is,i'm sure you guys know already!
on that note,i can't wait til these two players win a title over the chinese pair, fuhauifeng and caiyun or the korean pair, leeyong dae and jungjaeung.flypower vs. lin-ning or flypower vs. victor. and flypower takes the cake in both!

    ^^Indeed..^^

..that'll be pretty awesome to see Flypower rackets going up against the Yonexes, Li-Nings, Victors, Apacses, FZ Forzas, British Knights of the world..

I just called a shop besides hotel mulia and get quoted 615,000 IDR for tornado 800. That's without the string and bargain. I'll let my dad do the bargain part since I'm thousand miles away from Jakarta right now. Seriously, the price is eye catching and I'll get one in my hand pretty soon =)

Cool :) that should be the flypower office at the badminton hall opposite the stadium. Do update the final price to us here when you lay your hands on it and if you could check out the price for Warrior 7 all the better!

I never had chance to ask the warrior 7 price. I just got the flypower tornado 800 from my dad as present. I strung it with BG 80 @25x27 Lbs (strung by myself with constant pull + pre stretch), initial feeling is that the racket feels heavy when u carry it, however it feels light when u swing it. Don't ask me why as I can't explain it. Quite solid for smash and drive. I haven't got the feeling for dropshot yet =(.

Because TC is team event, and indonesian team is sponsored by YY. In individual event MK/HS will always use FP.

Agreed under Team event, they need to use YY, but only on apparels. Rackets are supposed to be of personal feelings.

I think they play better with YY rackets

Kido/Hendra are back with their yonex on thomas cup =). I saw it with my own eyes through TV :p. Anyway, just want to update you guys with the flypower tornado 800, the more I play with it, the more solid it become. Right now it's my current to go racket =). It does not feel too heavy when you swing it and I feel the racket head is fast like AT 800 defensive or 900 technique (but not as fast as those definitely). I used to play with the YY AT 800 DE,900 Tech and Ti-10 before. So far I really like this racket =)

Depends on the Yonex contract. As we have noticed the non-Yonex players in the Netherlands team refused to use Yonex racquets and were not selected. I was a little surprised to see Wong Choong Hann be allowed to use his Dunlop as Malaysia is supposed to have the same contract (all yonex from head to toe incl. racquet including all junior players)
