Smashing power is ridiculous with this racket. Been several months using this 3UG5 racket now and I suppose I'm hitting the sweet spot more consistently with improved technique too. Can't put the racket down.
Aren't you glad I told you to get it back when you were skeptical/hesitant about the VT80? . Get a VT80LTD as a back-up just like me.
Hey guys, if i love the NS9900 + Li Ning N90II, will i love the Voltric 80? I like rackets that'll boost my smash. Wasn't fond of the z-slash at all. Plan on demo-ing an Arc 10 or something later this week. I'm open to any other racket i can find in China.
I heard the N90 is a close comparison to the VT80. I think the NS9900 and N90II are a bit stiffer than the VT80. Hard to say if you'll like the VT80 or not.
Tried it tonight and it felt alright i guess. I'd assume it'd feel a lot betters with my usual string setup. (NG-98 at 24 lbs) I probably won't be able to resist buying the VT-80 LTD though.. it's too sexy.
Played singles again last night. This time joined by ViningWolff. The difference in levels was quite apparent. Suffice to say...my friend and I lost to ViningWolff each game. Even when we played 2 vs 1. He's that good (or maybe we're just that bad :crying. It was fun anyways and we even got some free tips/advice. We played with my HangYu and ViningWolf brought his tube of Sosan (?). Both of our shuttles were nice and held up pretty well. I think the HangYu played just as good as the RSL Classic Tourney but seems to last longer. Need more time to see though. I think I'm preferring the BG66UM for the "soft" feel instead of the BG80 "hard" feel. I'll need more playing time with each before sticking with one string. Thanks ViningWolff for the fun night. Offer still stands to join us next time you visit Vancouver. Cheers!!!
You'll find that colder temperatures in the winter will make your strings feel and play harder. So you have to adjust accordingly by choosing the right string and right tension for winter vs summer.
sheeeetttt~ last night my VT80 was clashed with my partner's racket ( Apacs Lethal 70 ), then my partner's racket was broke and my VT80?just a paint chip~
may i ask a question, does the voltric 80 come with a lint bag and box? http://www.ebay.com/itm/YY-Voltric-...160?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27bea81598 is this guy trustable?
Still not able to tell a FAKE racquet from a GENUINE racquet? Or still hell bent on trying to score a cheap price on a high range brand racquet on eBAY? CLASS G GENUINE?! What the Hell?
Yeah, Yonex makes the rackets in Japan, then ships them all the way to China just to be painted and laser etched. They then send too many just so the printing company can put fake JP codes on them and sell them slightly cheaper, robbing themselves of market share and reputation.
i have seen people recommending this website because it supplies 100% original rackets http://www.sohubuy.com/ the price of voltric 80 3U is only 158USD. same price with the bigshow guy. Why isit so cheap? Isit fake as well?
