hi mate, great work !!! With more practice, you will be winning mor and more matches against tough opponents who have played longer that you.
Did you manage to video any of the games ?
    Quick update from me:
I have played about 8 tournaments this year, and I have one left, they have been at differnt levels (3at national level, 4at competitive club level and 1 at a slightly lower level)
I won the easy one, and two of the club level ones, I also finally got past the first round of a national tournament (finally) after receiving poor draw after poor draw. So I have won 3 in total this year:D
I hope I enter all the national tournaments next year, as I will be the right age for the age group I am in.

oh ok, I suppose this is still on topic, I find that when freinds and family aren't watching me at tournaments, I play a lot better, I think it is because I try and play impossible shots and out right winners, when they are not watching, I play my own game, and I am alot calmer, ask feel there is no one to impress so I play less risky shots. Anyone else experience this, or is it just me ?

sometimes I do wonder if they are watching the other match when clapping or cheering , thats slightly bother me especially when the match I am playing is not as entertaining as the one on next court (always them damn MD) and they wonder off to the next court.

I dont blame them , my attention sometimes switch to the next court in-between point even when the match on that court sucks as well

    For my region

    Top level (Usually win)
Second tier (Slim Chance) <==== get roughly 15 out of 21 from here, but never win.
    3rd tier (No chance)

As long as you are enjoying your Badminton, and you are getting fitter as you are playing it; It doesn't matter if you are inferior or worthless at it. :):):)

I haven't played any tournaments since U/19 as a 17 yo, and can't really remember most of them. Judging by my medal count, about 17-20, not including leagues.

Not sure if junior stuff counts.

I played 10 tournaments this year and managed to win the last one in singles and doubles. Pretty happy but also angry with myself that it took 9 failures to finally get my act together on the last chance. Thanks to the two wins, I also upped my rank (D to C2) so I'm definately happy with that.

We'll see how the rest period during the summer goes.

    Hi Kariya,
New in badminton and practice with my spouse to lose some weight, get active and to get in shape so didn't play any tournament yet. But after regular practice I think I am able to compete and win some tournament now!
