there is anti slipping liquid available in the market and you may use them to not slip. and dont use them outside playing in the court.
The courts mainly get dusty so this anti-slipping liquid might not work for the places i play at. I just prefer to wash the soles of my shoes before each session.
These shoes are very cheap in China, only like 350RMB from Official Nike stores. Damnit should've bought a pair when I was there, the only reason was the design in real life is not very stylish at all......
About how much would these shoes be in USD? And would they be availible anywhere in the US (ie in a Nike outlet store)?
http://store.nike.com/index.jsp?cou...p,pdp,ctr-inline/cid-1/pid-186734/pgid-186736 You should be able to just walk into a Nike outlet and buy the shoes. But I would call to verify stock before even trying.
Thanks Joseph! The shoes do look awesome but.. $90?! If they could lower the price a little bit I would go for it... maybe next Christmas....
I didn't see the Raketa anywhere, is it even released yet? Or maybe they don't have it where I am...♠
I spoke with a manager from niketown sf, and she said they dont stock these anywhere. Now this is a 3 story (maybe 4 story?) nike store, and they dont even have it. They have shoes all the way back from the 90's but dont carry the raketa. I doubt an outlet will carry these. They did offer me the option to order them, have them shipped there for free and I can return them if i didnt like, but I would have to pay up front for the order. Im still holding out to see if the white light version is going to be released.
WHOA!! The racketas look like vintage nike design, with bold colors and a design similar to the Air Maxes...wait I'm not writing an ad for them. Anyways back to the topic. Anyone know when the Raketa will be in US markets and the cost? Also how does the Nike Air Zoom Speed 8.0 compare to other badminton shoes of the same price? And where can I get a pair of the Nike Court Shuttles? Should I get either pair? I play competitively on a highschool Var team. (Note:Using Nike Zoom Tri-D's for badminton and they suck for lunges.) I'm happy that Nike is getting into the badminton market. Now I can still look like a shoe head while I'm playing badminton.
A week or two ago, i saw another prototype nike shoe and one manager told me the gym owner is pushing nike to produce them so thats why they're still floating around. Dont take my word for it, im just saying what i heard.
Well I'm going to Nike World HQ employee store in Oregon sometime within this summer so I will check there. If they dont have it there. Then I dont think they have it anywhere in the US :]
Again, they do have shoes out, they are the red/black or gray/green, and then there are the womens colors too. They have a few prototype shoes floating around, and those of course wouldnt be at their employee store.
Been using Nike indoor court shoes for 1.5 years now. I play weekly. Love them, durable and still have good grip. My previous shoes become slippery in 1 year or less.
NOOOO! So I am guessing they are exclusives and possibly tier-0? I was soo looking forward into buying them. :crying::crying::crying:
I have been to their Beaverton HQ employee store many times, never seen a badminton shoes. If you find one, let me know. I bought a pair Nike multi-court shoe years back. It was good (similar feeling with my yonex one) and last much longer.
