Powermaster has a softer feeling than Ultimate and deals with sweat a little better. It also has a more "ribbed" feeling to it, more similar to the yonex wave grap if you've ever used that. I personally love powermaster and I plan to make it my main grip after I finish using up my Karakal PU grips. I also a big hand sweater, so that's the other reason why I like powermaster.
I found powermaster less tacky than the ultimates. The elites feel much better (yellow and pink) with more tack and sweat abortion. My current setup is 1 layer of electrical tape on the wood. 1 layer of ultimate with no overlap and then the elite overgrip on top of that.
power master IS not tacky ultimates almost rip my hand because it is very tacky power master is more comfortable to use for me they also have the ribbed design which gives feel of better grip I finished all my power masters while my karakal super PU still in the big along with RKEP elites..
I have about 10 Powermasters here gathering dust. In fact, I seem to have developed rather sweaty palms this summer and even the Ultimates are not quite tacky enough at the moment.
Guys, which (if any) of the RKEP grips, have similar thickness to Yonex AC420EX, but without the ridiculously soft feeling that it has, is there any "hard" feeling RKEP grips, with similar thickness?
Someone any experiences with: RKEP G08 SOFT75 Is it still tacky enough? I'm looking for an overgrip which is thicker than 0.60 and smooth like Wilson Pro Tournament overgrip.
Hi Pal, I am using RKEP G08 SOFT75, its nice to use, not too thin and not too think for me. As for tackiness, i cant really tell. As i am a heavy sweater, i wear a wrist band and apply grip powder on my palm. Hence, my palm is really dry throughout my 2 to 3hrs game. In the past, i tends to change my grip once in 2 weeks, now my grip is still going strong after 2 weeks of usage. My suggestion to heavy sweater like me, u can try applying grip powder and wristband like me to prolong ur grips life and most importantly to have a comfortable game and not worrying ur racket will fly off ur hands due to sweat. I will stick on to RKEP grips G08 Soft75 as long i am playing badminton.
Anyone can share with me which model of RKEP overgrip the thick-est? I am still looking for the answer.
It is written in the description how thick each one is so the only thing you have to do is compare the numbers ...
KING grip is a very good grip except (a)very few color available (b)very expensive cost We currently sold out the model and the new batch will come in early May available color: BLACK BLUE RED
ok, thanks for the explanation I will wait till May for it actually I want to go for 6 power master and 6 king, but it seems it's above £15 limit for custom charge..
