Agree, MP does appear to be slippery to the touch but when you string it on a racket, it has good grip. Both prototype ZM strings have excellent grip. I have not tried the actual production versions yet but will do so today or tomorrow. I believe there were no changes to the production string so they should be the same. Gonna string an Ultra with ZM70 at 35lbs. ECP and have some fun!
sounds good I always liked MP, though I use bg80 now, I'll definatly try a reel op ZM when I'm out of strings 35lbs with yonex equivalent of 0.67mm (give or take)... Doesn't sound like something that will last
I wanted to test the ZM70 and see how tight I could string it. It's an impressive string... ...I just strung an Ultra with ZM70 at ~36.5lbs. ECP (36.0/37.0) with a 10% pre-stretch. That's the highest tension I have ever strung a racket. The string held up no problems as did the racket. Hmmm, at this tension, I don't think I need a 10% pre-stretch. I have to admit, watching the digital gauge go past to 40lbs. and drop back down was a bit harrowing. I'll go test out the racket and string tomorrow...
Lol! I don't think you will get to test the racket for long! at 36/37lbs , your going to have to make some quick review on it !
At 40,even though the frame can hold it..the problem is now to seek for a string that can be durable enough at that tension.Hehe..anyway,panda,still waiting for the pics!
o wow. haven't been snooping around on bc for a while and panda's coming out with rackets cant' wait to try them out XD
if it's 1/2 of good for panda, it's 2X better for our need hey dinkalot, how about this slogan? 'Strong enough for panda but made us humans'
Master Cooler: naw, Panda don't want too much hype or big expectations. Because it can only go downhill from there. Panda just hopes to make a good product for the money.
not 100% PIT.........., a tighter sampling plan will do for a start. pls attach a copy of the COC. it can be a 2D or 3D coded print or a Hologram (liked YY) as a form of authentication proof. by the way, who will be yr ambassador of this product? just kidding guys. cheers joeling
Big hitting raquet for big hitting dudes ( and maybe dudettes)!!!! For instance, if you ask Oldhand, he'll tell you my double's partner Tommy hits pretty hard; Tommy says he can't even wield the Ultra. Another person, one of the hardest hitting top amateurs in the US, "Ba Su"; he said he needed to work out for a few months in order to wield an 85.5g Ultra which swings like a 88g racket As I've said, sounds like a boomstick of my liking. Sounds as meaty as the old iso-200s. I got a really good ad campagin, we need to get Panda, Myself and some other , of, er, well, we'll say, large for badminton stature with new Ultra's in hand. "Time to hit with the big boys."
Wow, I haven't been on these forums in a while. I'm glad to hear that production is going along well and distribution is soon to come. Assuming I'm willing to unwrap my hands from my change, one of these rackets may become the last one I purchase before I head off to college!
I just got back from SGVBC. Both rackets played well. Amen! But then again, just about any racket will play well with BG66. OK, time to get some sleep and then I need to string a bunch of rackets and be back at SGVBC around 8pm.
Yay! I go to SGVBC everyday, see you there! Now to be on a look out for those two racquets, because I have no idea how you look like x.x
