Chances of CWF beating LD is the same as the chance of Lin Dan picking up an injury that forces him to retire before the FIRST ROUND of the All-England.
Actually, it was pretty sad that he got Marc Zwiebler in the first round of the German Open. Results in MO and this shows that he is in the average pack  His progress is slow...we shall see

and would you like 'him' to be around? he is an intelligent guy and can contribute but minus the rubbish.

the mas elite back up 2010 does not need to be hammered this way. they have been selected throughout the country based on their performance and trained under a group of coaches/trainers managed by bam. spending so much time training, eat & sleep there and because its performance-based at anytime anyone could just give up or dropped, just imagine the pressure...:D

It is a cyclical thingie...just that the current batch of MAS juniors are not bankable. After Dato is gone, MAS faces a lean rebuilding phase. It just proves it is not easy to find replacement for Dato. Even mighty CHN cannot find a next LD, INA for TH and DEN for PG. Once these folks are gone, the best of the current good players will play king.

yes, you are right and in fact every country has the same or facing the similar problem...

considering malaysia population being the smallest i think what mas has achieve to date is amazing. :)

There's 19 y.o. Iskandar, Syawal & Ramdan, but that's at least 3 yrs, provided they get the necessary grooming & exposure, not hit & miss here there like what happened to TCS & gang.

China gotta wait a couple of years for the 2009 WJC, Tian. Mean time, they have Chen Long.
Indonesia have Sony K & Simon, they're not bad what. Denmark has JOJ (have to, uncle PG reaching mid 30s soon). Korea still has PSH.
But yeah uncle, for MS, current new batches coming up not as exciting as LD, LCW,TH era

there will be a likely chance to be given to Goh Wei Shem to form a new pairing with a Senior player

Goh is stronger at the baseball than at the net. He has a nice jumping smash and he is skillful at the base. Sometime tends to be fancy especially when he is leading.

If that is so, then he might be similar to early TBH? Then, we need to find a talented player at the net to be his partner...
