I bet those are Trinity Pro prototypes :p

I'm a counter puncher player. The Ultra pro sounds really yummy. Can't wait!!!

Had a chance to try my Precision tonight along with the Victor Bumblebee 02 since both of them arrived at around the same time... The precision is a VERY VERY fast racket, I had trouble with my timing playing with the precisioin tonight as it is much faster than my usual rackets, granted I did ask Sir Dink for a lighter end precision, I think was somewhere around 84? It felt light and fast, clears were pretty good I'm not really a smasher so I can't really comment on my smashes, compared to the Bumblebee the Precision is much faster, the bumblebee feels heavy and sluggish compared to the Precision. I only played two games with the bumblebee and went back to the precision some more, and then back to my current go to racket which is the LiNing N30II... The LiNing does produce more power than the precision but the precision is a quicker racket than the N30II... Actually out of the three the victor felt the slowest and most sluggish... I might give it another try later but that's my impression so far... For those on the fence about the Precision I would say give it a try since it is a very very fast racket, in hindsight I should've gotten one a few grams heavier... But as a quick defensive racket(which is what Sir Dink was aiming for) this racket is right on the mark as it's one of the quickest rackets I've ever used....

    Thanks for the info Jasonvan,

Happy to hear that Precision is so quick that a few grams more is not to worry about. Mine is going to be 86,3 grams. Should be great for Fast and Khabooom!

Just gotten hold of my Precision yesterday (Thanks to Derrick)

Just my 2cent worth of contribution.

the precision i got was at 85.7g with a BP of 290. Will be doing a comparision with my Trinity II at 85.7g with a BP of 287. Both are on Yonex BG66 strings with a tension of 25

First impression of the Precision- I like the color on the Precision. The gold stripes stands out perfectly!

First Swing- Solid. and swing felt heavier as compared to my trinity (dude, coz this is bp is 290 whereas my trinity is at 287)

First "modification"- i removed the original grip and replaced it with a Karakal PU grip. At this point, i realised that the Precision's Paint seems to be slightly disappointing, as the paint at the cone area peeled off together with the black tape of the grip.

First stroke- Power seems to be generated easily from it.

    (more updates after my dinner)

First of all thumbs up for Derrick Tan, Anshar and Panda himself.
I sent emails and the replies were fast and helpfull. Very professional!

So finally I got to play with the Precision yesterday. (played a game with Khrisna)

I strung it with Zymax 62mm
The racket felt very light (my preference) and POWERFUL. My smashes had more juice than usual ( i hv weak arms)
My back hand clear and drive went out of courts a few times. I think I had problems getting used to the timing.
So had to switched back to my regular NS9000 during crucial moments of the game.

But definitely will be my main racket. I just needed to adjust the overgrip to make it smaller for my little fingers.
So overall GREAT racket. thanks Panda!

BTW Khrisna and me WON the very close game. Thanks Khrisna!

I am still getting used to the speed of the racquet. I'm hitting frame on more shots that usual on drops and easy hits. Full swings I'm ok on timing thou.

Finally had a full go around with my Precisions. And I admit, I am kind of greedy because I got 4:

    84.1g, BP285
    84.2g, BP287
    84.2g, BP289
    84.5g, BP287

Overview: The 84.1/285 is noticable faster than all the rest of them, and is my favorite. While the 84.1/285 is my favorite, the differences between the 4 rackets are unnoticable in game. I have tried actively to switch midgame between the 4 and to actively look for a difference, and they are all very very very close. So the following reviews are based on the following game play break down: 75% 84.1/285, 25% the other four :p

Playing style: Defensive specialist, preferring to defend well and push the opponent to the four corners, waiting for an opening to execute the kill. In tennis terms, I am known as the counter-puncher.

Power: This racket is powerful. While I have never enjoyed Armortec rackets (or their special cones), I have always respected their power on the courts. The power is immediately noticable. I usually have difficulty clearing full court and smashing hard at any tension higher than 24lbs, but with the Precision, I have upped it to 26lbs and I can still clear and smash easily, more easily than before. In gram for gram comparisons, one of the strongest I own.

Agility: This racket is so fast, I am only limited by my reaction time and arm speed. It acts as an extension of my arm, one of the few rackets I have ever held that do so. I feel like I am flying on the court, which could be a bad things in doubles, but has proven to be nothing but good. My friend actually complemented my increased speed and reaction time and asked how much I had been training, and to tell the truth, before getting the Precision, I haven't actually played seriously in nearly 3 or 4 months.

Defense: While other rackets are super fast (NS8000, Zelm PP10K) and others are super powerful (AT700/900P, Zelm PP9990, Zelm US), few rackets can combine both aspects so well. When they do mesh well, it results in amazing defense. This is where the Precision really shines through for me. Being a counter-puncher, I need speed and power, the former to defend well enough to get my opponent to hit me an easy one, and then the power to kill any weak return. The speed of this racket allows me to defend smashes any way I want to, from tape-hugging drop to reaction-pushing drive/attack clear to arm-wearying lifts to the very back line. The racket is fast enough that I am only limited by own reaction speed, and powerful enough that I am not limited by my strength in out of position shots. The perfect complement to my style.

Stability: This applies more the Net and Drop shots. The stability of this racket is definitely there. Despite the slightly more flexible shaft, it doesn't lose any stability, allowing for great accuracy when placing "touch" shots. It sends birdies exactly where you want them to go, and is quite forgiving in doing so. Its almost like it reads your mind, and then sends the birdie where you want it to go. This allows for a great deal of precision in terms of where you'd like to send your opponent.

Feel: This is extremely subjective. I have not connected with a racket like this in quite a while. Its almost perfect for me and I love the feel I get from it. It just feels natural. So as with all reviews, and especially this facet, YMMV.

My ratings: (using Dan's review template)
    Feel: Excellent
    Stability: Excellent
    Power: Excellent-
    Defense: Excellent+
    Agility: Excellent
    Paint: Good+

The only problem here is the paint :p It seems that with all 4, the paint is noticably worse than the Trinities and Ultras I own. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely positively adore the color scheme and design, but the paint doesn't seem as high quality. Lets see how well it stands up to the test of time.

NB: This review is purely subjective and rarely objective. These are my personal opinions and as such, are not meant to be the end-all of how the racket will play for anyone reading it. YMMV.

PS. Dan, when will you get more?

Interesting choices of weights and bp's please let us know how they compare. Getting
very good feedback by people testing. Think many people will be selling their Precisions to
a friend and buying one a bit heavier now they know how fast it is. Will be testing my 85g bp 288 out tonight to see if it is as crazy fast as my 86g 285 bp.

My poor Trinity 2's are feeling neglected now.:D

Played with the rackets for a few hours now so gonna give my impressions.

84.1g, BP292 Strung with ZM62 27lbs Gripped with RKEP Elite (pink)
82.6g, BP286 Strung with ZM62 27lbs, Gripped with RKEP Elite (white)

Summary: This is the first time I'm using Zymax 62, RKEP Elite grips and using a higher tension. During my playing period I mostly was using the 84g BP292 Precision while my Bro was using the other. Carlton motto "specialist at speed," well it's time for them to try a Precision. These things are very "VERY" fast. I was comparing it to a Trinity 2 at 82grams BP285 and the precision swings way faster. Also don't be fooled at the medium stiff shaft, it has plenty of power to offer.

Power: I would say the power is just slightly less to on par with the T2. I was able to do net kills with a quicker and shorter swing. Clears and smashes were excellent, I can send the shuttle from baseline to baseline. Backhand clears were much easier once you get the timing right. This racket is easy to generate a good consistent power with every swing, unlike the extra stiff rackets where if you swing a little less your power dramatically decreases.

Defence: Usually in doubles I wouldn't let the opposing players go on the offensive unless I have to. But with this racket I tend to just sit back and let them smash away as I just return smash after smash. It was easy to get outta the defense and switch go on the attack as the racket gave me so much more control on how I can return the shuttle.

Maneuverability: Swinging this racket is effortless. You can easily pretend to do a drop shot but at the last minute accelerate the racket and do a smash. Quick exchanges at the net is what this racket excels in. It swings about 3grams lighter. Getting use to the speed of this racket is essential to fully benefit.

    Feel: Feels good! :p

This is how I would rate the Precision with the other Panda Rackets I own.

    Rating: Precision
    Power: 8.5/ 10
    Control: 9.5/10
    Defence: 10/10
    Maneuverability: 10/10

    Rating: Ultra 1
    Power:9.5/ 10
    Control: 9/10
    Defence: 8/10
    Maneuverability: 8.5/10

    Rating: Ultra 2
    Power:9.5/ 10
    Control: 9/10
    Defence: 8.5/10
    Maneuverability: 9/10

    Rating: Trinity 2
    Power:9/ 10
    Control: 9/10
    Defence: 9.5/10
    Maneuverability: 9/10

Conclusion: This is one amazing racket, it has very good defensive properties but isn't lacking in offensive either. If one were to start off with a top of the line racket then this one would be my choice. Great work Panda! Now to see the Ultra Pro ;)

I'm going to try putting some tape on mine to see how it feels. I'm swinging a 83.7g with a BP of 283 AND I have one Yonex grap over the regular grip. I'm getting good enough power on it and it's sometimes TOO quick on the swings :)

    Feels great at 29lbs thou!

Guys, enough with the reviews, they're killing me :D Seriously, why is the damn delivery to Mark taking so long? And even if they were to arrive today, Mark still needs to string most of them and forward them to the greedy, anxiously waiting European fanatics...I just hope THAT delivery wont take long, otherwise I'm gonna go nuts....
But seriously, nice reviews. Thanks for sharing. I hope once I get mine I'll find the time to do the same...
