What if the badminton shuttlecock flies onto the table tennis table? Would that also be "Table Badminton" ? :)

i use to play on thursday at my local recreation centre. there was table tennis occupying two badminton courts (long vertical). one from one of table tennis bounced on to our court and i hit it back with my racket.

the table tennis ball was so light and i applied too much force and the ball bounced everywhere! OOPPPPPS the ball hit the wall and it bounced back to our court and then next thing you know... everyone started to hit the table tennis ball around the court!!

basket ballers can be a tad annoying too. especially when they occupy half court and your playing on the other half court.

all these hall pictures are inspiring me to construct my own badminton court in my backyard. i'm going to check with my local council to see what the maximum ceiling height is.

that looks brilliant, i wish i had gone for training when i was younger, a long long time ago, in a country far away ....

do all the trainees have to wear the uniform? are you banned from training if you turn up without it?

aza... you've made my day :D

A pan asian look would have him look like a mix of japanese, chinese, malaysian, indonesian, burmese, thai, indian, and quite a few other races :p

No no no no no, he's the evil coach :p.
Coach Basri Yusuf showed us a attack-and-defend drill.. he made all our coaches do consequtive jump smashes against him.. wow, he amazed us..
He was like a wall. The 'evil coach', aka 'dean' did about 36 in a row.. then our other coach 'peter' did about 33 in a row.. then our other coach did only 12 in a row.. embarassing :D.. He tired out, so he just did a drop to end the rally..

Since the coach was sponsored by Ashaway, he brought some new ashaway models for 2008.. new shoes, new racquets, new bags, new grips, etc..
There was a racquet with really funny grommets. There were creases around the frame where the MP grommets would usually be. The string went around the frame instead of going through the grommets. I had never seen a racquet like that before. I also tested out a racquet with pg66neon strings and I fell in love with those strings..

they may be quite good but definitely not as good as Yonex ones. the MicroPower and MicroLegend don't match up to BG-80.

One of the more stylish halls (8 courts) I've been in so far (not played, only went to pick up some people who were asked to do a demonstration on the opening day). Especially the right side , love the look of old converted factories, warehouses etc. for apartments as well:

only one tactic to win here during daytime.
hit the shuttle high up, so the opponent keep looking at the skylight....:D

Haha, exactly what I thought when I entered ... Still think it makes an awesome practice hall. Kinda has that Rocky feel to it, no hightech just hardcore training .
