I recon that ti 10 and NS 9900 is kinda similar, the shaft of ti 10 is not as 'responsive' as ns 9900. I need more power to handle the ti 10.
If you're a hard-hitter, then you should try out a loaner...but I'm pretty sure you'll like it..I switched, and no regrets!
i disagree. i tried a Ti-10 and a NS9900 one after another, the feeling of the NS9900 is crisper and it is more even balanced. while the Ti-10 is more dull with a much of pronounced mass towards the head. both are strung at the same tension with same string by the same stringer.
BS10 swing faster but more difficult to generate powerful smash (compare to 8DX) but very rewarding when you be able to do it , very stiff and moderate head heavy. 8DX swing not as fast as BS10 but equal to his brother Arc10 (and yes, it already fast) and more easy to generate power, far more powerful compare to Arc10...stiff and same moderate head heavy
Hi everyone. Asked for ArcSaber 8DX review last week. But today I got my brand new 8DX Actually I was using Head Metallix 4000 and Head Airflow 5 before. Both these 2 Head's racquets has it's own characteristics. Metallix 4000 is meant for smashing but Airflow 5 is meant for control. But ArcSaber 8DX gave me the combination of both 8DX is actually quite head heavy, more or less like ArcSaber Z-Slash. But with it's extra stiff shaft, it becomes Balanced and very fast respond of driving. In short, you'll never believe that this racquet can gives you the power of smashing as well as the accuracy of playing control. I strung it with BG66 with tension of 24lbs using ES5Pro stringing machine. It really gives you great experience more than you may imagine
YEESSSSSS to the ArcSaber 8DX. Love it, love it, love it especially with NBG98 strung @ 26/28 #s. Tried all the high-end Yonex racquets but this is definitely my favourite
I bought a very new used Arc8DX from a nice BC gentleman. Agree with you, quite fast but not as fast as NS9k or NS9.9K. very powerful by comparison to NS9K/9.9K. Only setback is that the frame does not produce the repulsive characteristic of NS9K/9.9K. While it has a stiff shaft, it is not really that stiff, so the average players should be able to generate sufficient power from it.
Yup pretty much all arc series are on the hold end and all ns series on the repulsion end. Btw I mean arc8dx stiffer than arc10, but not stiffer than ns9.9k. Overall arc8dx is a very powerful smash racket with great control so enjoy your new racket
Hi, I feel that my NS9000 produces a lot more louder cracking sound than my Arc8DX when I drive hard and smash. It is so loud that my friend feel anoying at times, but since it is so enjoyable to play with, I dont care. haha. The only different between my two rackets is that the NS9000 is on GB66 while the Arc8DX came with GB80, with almost the same tension at about 25lbs. I notice you use both NS9900 and Arc8DX, do you have the same experience? Do you think if I change the Arc8DX string would increase the cracking noise, or may be improve repulsion slightly? Thanks.
Tried it out last week, all I have to say is WOW. Has a good even balance to it, with a touch of head heaviness to it. Control is deadly percise, my cross court drops were spot on it, as well as normal drops. Smash has a great sound to it, but yet powerful as my AT 250 (Strung with BG-80 @ 24LBS) Clears are no problem at all. Net play is excellent, though I still need practice on my technique...(same with my backhand lol) Paint job looks great, though not as eye catching as some other high end Yonex rackets (arc10, z-slash etc..) 10/10
