    Thomas Cup
    Group D: Japan vs Laos
Group C: India vs Sri Lanka
    Group C: Thailand vs Cambodia
Group A: Indonesia vs Singapore - Team SIN has the chance to win MD1...but no more than that.
    Group B: Chinese-Taipei vs Philippines

    Uber Cup
    Group Y: Japan vs Philippines
Group Y: Hong Kong China vs India - 50-50 match. Team HKG is playing Zhou Mi and Yip Pui Yin. I think it will go to the wire. If Zhou Mi lost, India will take the tie!
Group X: Korea vs Sri Lanka
Group X: Indonesia vs Singapore - first crunch match for Team INA and I believe they will take this one!

WS1: Zhou Mi vs Saina Nehwal - this is a match Zhou Mi MUST WIN! Failure to win this one will yield the tie to Team IND.

WS2: Yip Pui Yin vs Sayali Ghokale - likewise for Yippy!

WS3: Chan Tsz Ka vs Trupti Murgunde - Team IND will take this one.

WD2: Zhou Mi/Tse Ying Suet vs Jwala Gutta/Ashwini Ponnappa - the IND pair is slightly more balanced and experienced, esp with Jwala Gutta's presence.

WD1: Chau Hoi Wah/Chan Tsz Ka vs Aparna Balan/Shruti Kurian - the crunch match and both pairs will be going all-out to take this one. Team IND has the slight edge.

Since Wang Chen is not playing, I think Team IND will beat HKG 3-2.

So sorry the software is a bit out. India are currently down 1-0. Yip Pui Yin beat Ghokale Sayali. You can go to www.tournamentsoftware.com to check out the matches as they play.

    Thank You Kingfisher.
Right now I don't have access to TS.com, but given the way it behaves in some important tournaments, I am not missing it much. :)
Maybe I will check afternoon to see the complete result set.
    Go Saina!!!!:D:D

    Uber Cup
    JPN - PHI : 5-0
HKG - IND : 1-3, Saina Nehwal winning against Zhou Mi definitely delivered big impact for overall result.

I may sound very arrogant but even the third grade team from INA can defeat Singapore in Thomas Cup.:D:D
Same certainly can't be said for their Uber Cup team!!

Taufik Hidayat won INA's first pt, despite trailing 14-18 in the 2nd set, by taking the last 7 pts of the match.

Can Rian Sukmawan/Yonathan Suryatama Dasuki beat Hendri Kurniawan Saputra/Hendra Wijaya in their Thomas Cup debut?

Meanwhile, Adriyanti Firdasari lost the first set 27-29.
