Matsutomo/Takahashi bt Ha Jung Eun/Jung Kyung won 20-22, 21-16, 21-16. A very good achievement for them as Ha is a very and experienced player. She ever won the UC final with Lee Kyung Won. Matsutomo/Takahashi will take on Cheng Shu/Ma Jin tomorrow. Good luck. Haha

2011 Korea Open PSS: The Matsutomo/Takahashi-vs-Cheng Shu/Ma Jin match

    .
Cheng Shu/Ma Jin are seeded higher (at No.7).

IMHO. Matsutomo/Takahashi (not seeded) could find it hard to defeat them.

I don't think so they can defeat Cheng/Ma. :) Not a good draw for them.

But the Chen Jin feint tops it all. She does a good imitation of it. Very hilarious :).

I knew the game would be close, but I must admit that I didn't expect them to be on the winning side :). Any success from tommorow onwards is a bonus to the already excellent performance. I'm believe that they have a chance to become the no 1 Japanese WD pair within a year.
But the choice to play in both doubles remains a tricky one . But I think Misaki is making a correct decision. It is not wise to put all the eggs in one basket. The risks of a doubles pair withdrawing due to injury to either player is about 50% higher than that of a singles player. It would be tragic to miss the OG because of injury.

Shucks. Tomorrow's match is not on the TV court :(. Now I'll just have to hope they beat Cheng Shu/Ma Jin.

Cheng Shu/Ma Jin were just too strong for Misaki/Ayaka.
It was a 21-12, 21-18 match (in just 41 minutes).
