personally, i think the Precision is the better between the T2 and Precision. the UP is a good racket if one is very very strong. if the character of the Precision can be preserved, with a slightly stiffer shaft and high BP, it will be a even better racket.

I tend to agree, I have had lots of problems getting used to the Precision because of the shaft stiffness. I recently re-balanced it at 285mm, and installed a new Ashaway prototype string with less tension then regular at 21/23 Lbs, and for the first time, I had fun with it. Still miss some power out of it, I understand it was not designed with this in mind, but as you say, a Precision with a slightly stiffer shaft and more power could be great.

Same stiffness as the Upro and Solid feeling, the new finish, same speed or faster then the precision.

We have to be careful with the stiffness, it needs to be suitable with 80% of the users. Otherwis, it won't have any success; it is not everybody who can play with such stiff racquets.

80% for the regular version and the Pro for the other 20% ;). Well UPro stiffness would be a lil much, T2 might be interesting or maybe 8.0-8.5 to take a broad range ...

Any of you guys try the TPro yet?
It hits amazingly well. It's quite fast enough for it to be good at defense and there is plenty of power on it as well.

Are you comparing it to T2 or P? I forgot which one you had before.

I don't think so - its just gonna be different, like the UPro and TPro are different.

Yes - you are very lucky! Apparently patience is a virtue:rolleyes:

I have asked for T-pro of a similar spec, so it will be very interesting to read a review once you have played with racket, even just an initial review.

    Good luck and enjoy!

    Dink,
Now that the R is one step closer to reality, perhaps you can summarize the advantages of the all-woven graphite design over the T2/T-Pro, and what you're hoping to achieve with it? Pretty please? :D

    Mama Panda's Status

Panda wasn't going to write this and also didn't know where to write this but figures every little bit helps.

    :crying:
Panda's mother, "Mama Panda", was just diagnosed with inoperable liver cancer. Or to be exact, there are "multiple heterogeneously enhancing mass lesions."

The source of the cancer is still unknown. We are waiting for the biopsy results to see what options we have. We are fortunate in that we have access to two of the top hepatologists in the U.S.

Prior to being ill, Mama Panda was the healthiest in our extended family. She did tai chi, yoga, zen meditation, dance, some pilates and even played a bit of badminton. She studied to be a dietician so she was very health conscious. She is in her 60s but is as flexible as a woman in her 30s. Her aerobic conditioning is that of a fit woman in her early 40s. So when Mama Panda, over the course of two months, became very ill, everyone was in complete shock. :(

Mama Panda can be a candidate for world's bestest mother. She is the rock in our extended family and everyone depends on her and respects her to the utmost. Any problems, she is the mediator and everyone would respect her decision. When any of her close friends had problems, they would go to Mama Panda for advice.

Additionally, Mama Panda served at her local church both physically and financially. She also regularly donated money to numerous organizations such as: The Salvation Army, The Red Cross, World Wildlife Fund, National Geographic, sponsors a few children through Children International and Christian Children's Fund.

Based on her life circumstances, Panda would say Mama Panda truly maximized the cards she was dealt. She would score a 99 out of 100. Heck, maybe even 100 out of 100. She has no debts, no regrets, no enemies; everyone that knows her loves her and she does her best to make the world a better place.

This Panda asks, on bended knee, that you please pray for Mama Panda and give her your best wishes.

    Thank you for listening.

    Humbly,
    Dan

Directly from Dink. Mark's shipment is gonna take some time - 2 weeks from now, the rackets can be in the UK, and another 4-5 days till they arrive with me. From what I could tell by swinging it around a little just now, this is a very hot candidate for doubles - swings heavier than the Precision, which is good. Still very quick though - can't wait to test it out tomorrow. Yesterday's training was pretty tiring so I won't go tonight, I couldn't appreciate this racket appropriately :D
