Andre win Le Volant d'Or de Toulouse International 2008 Congratz in final beat other indonesian players Ari Yuli Wahyu 21-16 22-2o
Don't discount PG, Chen Yu and incumbent Boonsak as possible challengers to LCW for the title! Come to think of it, there still remains a lot of fight in the SO despite the last-minute withdrawals!
Wait, isn't this the Andre Kurniawan Tedjono thread, not the SIN SS thread? In the INA SS, Andre has to go through LCW first before getting to Peter Gade etc. And Boonsak isn't in the INA SS draw.
From the current batch of Indonesian MS, Andre is the best bet to be the world beater. He has the look of a champion, expressive, passionate and an intimidating present. Just need a little bit of fine tuning. The rest are not good enough, 1. Taufik, passed the expiry date, passion and physic wise 2. Sony, doesn't have the urgency to win. Need to listen more to "Eye of the tiger". 3. Simon, meek as a lamb, don't have self confident, stay a semi/quarter finalist. 4. Tommy, need more playing time to comment. So Andre, if you read this, go for your destiny. The next Champion from Indonesia.
After winning the Indonesian International Challenge, Andre will return to action at the beginning of October in the Bittburger Open. He is seeded third there...
Quite a productive 3 weeks for Andre Kurniawan Tedjono. He was beaten in the QF of the Bitburger Open, but bounced back and won a Bronze in the KLRC Bulgarian Open, before ending the European tour with another GP title in his bag today in the Yonex Dutch Open, with style too! The way he won his match against Chetan Anand today was nerve-wrecking, yet, marvellous..."ciamik" according to Krisna !
congrtaz to Andre KT...... Wish he can win another big tourney not only GP, but GP gold or SS... keep on track...........
^^Yes..^^ ..ATK are the initials i'll give if Andre is not ready to win and/or perform consistently...However, I'll change it to AKT once he starts winning and performing on a consistent basis..
Cool... You watched the match live? You're so lucky... Andre's strengths are his tremendous fighting spirit, will to win, finding out ways to win, and physical fitness... Lately, coach Fang taught him ways to use the Chinese style (be as unpredictable as the weather) of play. Combining slow-tactical game, fast-athletic game, and sudden burst of speculation game. I suppose he utilized everything to the fullest against the [somewhat] older Indian yesterday...
