Wait so Yonex will be releasing the new green voltric (the one lcw is using i presume) with the gold shoes? Have they thought this colour combination through?

Nope (they are not related). There will be a limited version of the new voltric as well, the new ltd versions of the shoes are slated for release in May according to one website that had it for pre-order so I presume these are more likely to be related.

Quick question. I have read in this topic that the 65ft are narrow at the front. I have been using 85s during the last year and was wondering whether users that have moved from 85 to 65ft s have had any problems with the narrower head. Thanks

Just brought these shoes and thought I'd leave a message to tell others that if they are comfortable with 85s, these 65 s will fit comfortably

yurimaster2010, i just bought one and is the same size as yours one 26.5cm from japan. I have got other yonex shoes which are in 26.5cm too. The both side are tight fit for sure which is what i want and i am very happy with it but some how i just feel a little loose back and front (allow one finger to slide in at the back and is that the ideal size to choose the shoes?). Do you feel the same?

hmm, i dun think you choose badminton shoes the same as running shoes. you'd want it to be snug so you dont slide inside your shoe. i have deformed or black toe nail because of it (blood clot).

after changing to a half size (cm) smaller shoe and much thicker socks it went away in about 3 months (the time it takes for the nail to completely regrow) :p

I just think the sole looks slightly cheap, I felt that the SHB-65FT feels lighter than the SHB-86EX

After months of saying I will buy these shoes and doing nothing about it and people on this forum looking at my posts and etc. I have finally bought them... :)
Finally I feel relieved now as I finally have them and can't wait to use them.
