    I have never understood the rampant fascination with the beauty of this woman. But watching the Finals of the World Championship one has to admire her grace of movement and power. A very good player! Viva Wang Lin!!

    Wang Lin injured her left knee in her 1st round match vs. INA's Maria F.K. Seemed to be serious. Will it factor in LYB's decision to include her in the AG squad??..

    she will be out from international scene for at least 6 months:crying: and will be going to either US or germany for surgery as she has 2 ligaments torn....

    ..that is indeed very unfortunate for her..a speedy recovery for her nonetheless..the earliest return for her would be sometimes in late spring/early summer next yr, around the same time for the Olympics qualification period..
    *on another note, she has age on her side and her injury/surgery reminds me of Peter Gade's own knee injury/surgery (in which he missed 9 months)..
