The last time that website was updated was in 2013. They are still 'awaiting' the 2013 catalogue. Bah!
I guess when Lin dan racket and shoe is out for adidas , it will be the most expense under Adidas badminton range !
if anything it's gonna be a new racket made specially for him, and then put on sale for the general public, like the N90.
Would be interesting since LN is the sponsor of the national team which LD is a part of, so how is he going to use Adidas equipment(or better yet, how is Adidas going to market him) if he is going to use a all black racket and have his shoe painted over?
Watched Lin Dan play against Hsu Shao Wen. I must say I've missed how he plays and how well LD anticipates and reads the game. I know we all know LD for his trademark aggression game and signature jump smashes and retrieval ability, but he's really shown he is a master tactician as of the the last 4 years. Combined with his excellent footwork, it seemed he was dancing on the court during the match against Hsu Shao Wen except when Hsu Shao Wen periodically hit some great shots, forcing LD to dive or increase his speed. Just an excellent match and a reminder of why I love his game and how he's transformed it to suit his aging body. I will miss the day when LD can no longer dive for the shuttle or retrieve impossible shots, turning a hopeless situation into a winner. The same can be said for the tennis great Roger Federer. He's 33, turning 34 soon. He's a step slower and his technique has suffered as he can no longer blast winners with the same ferocity and consistency as he used to. While he's no longer #1 in the world, he's sitting at #4 and keeping himself competitive though eventually age will catch up to him. Do you all think LD will retire long before he ever gets to that physical state? He's not getting any younger at age 30. Or do you think Lin Dan will keep playing until he can no longer keep up with the likes of Chen Long and the other up and coming badminton players? I have a feeling with LCW stating he intends to go until Rio 2016, LD will follow suit. It's likely it will be a place that both players will retire actually. But I feel that is where he is going to retire, even if he feels capable of beating anyone. That would definitely provide the capstone to his illustrious career if he wins, though it's definitely not a guarantee at age 33-34.
Perfektion, I can't find any adidas Badminton website with such an information. Could you please give us the website URL you talk about ?
Agree. Team events will be sponsored by Lining. As for LD racket in the team events, i think there will be some clauses or LD current racket being painted with Lining cosmetic since LD is quite picky when it comes to his weapon.
LD is just doing showboat againt Wong ZLD today. By the way, it's pretty obvious now that's not a Li-Ning racket he holds. The scotch on the bottom of it wa a first clue, second is that he plays today with a "L D" sign on his strings instead of the LN logo.
I would be disappointed if he talked about this site, because he was never uptaded since adidas badminton launch in June 2013
It is definitely the Li-ning racket as Lining facebook page posted the lindan photo with racket asking to name the racket. It might be a new racket from Li-ning. Source : https://www.facebook.com/LiNingBadminton ( Is this official facebook page ? )
Thanks for noticed it kbase, I just found this message on Li-Ning Badminton account from US and Canada. Even with this information, I can't get it : added together, the facts are still quiet surprising. He definitely plays with adidas QF7 shoes, using today a black racket with a sotch on the brand on the bottom, and now no LN logo on the strings. Acting like that just let figures that there is nothing Li-Ning on this racket.
It might even be new shoes from Li-ning. Let's not speculate. Li-ning might be testing their new products.
C'mon, you have to be blind to not see that those are so obviously Adidas QF7 shoes he was wearing a few pages back.
