I remember reading on the package that BG 68 TI created a good hitting sound and I remember about 2 years ago I used that string and it wasn't what I liked at all :S and it wasn't that loud. I don't know if it was just me tho  back then I was pretty scrub (intermediate). I recently tried BG 66UM and it just satisfies me out of all the strings I tried because it makes such a clear and good sound. Give it a try ^^

the best sounding string i have used is nbg98. better than bg66/um/m, bg80/85/65/65ti, vs850, zm62/67.

never tried 66sharp, but those are hard to find these days.

x.x I tried NBG 98 and it was too slippery for my liking and the sound sounded... normal to me  do people produce different/louder sound with the strings ?_?

I played a couple of months with NBG 95 and i liked the sound so maybe NBG 98 would be a good choice as it seems better in all aspects.

BG 66 is probably great but i doubt I can find it where I am...

Zymax 62 - the sharpest, highest pitch sound you can possibly find.

even sharper when the string breaks, which is about every 2 hours if you're a hard hitter, lol.

imo, 66um sounds better than nbg98. But I personally prefer nbg98 and vs850.

As for producing a great sound. It's all down to how you hit the shuttle.

yes bg66um is more of a big ping sound than a bang sound.

    On my rackets at 24lbs.

    soundwise - bg66um>nbg98>vs850

my personal stringing preference - vs850>nbg98>bg66um
