Hi, if you want more power then it is recommended to get Apacs Lethal 90. it is so powerful. two of my friends tried my lethal 90 and they bought them straight away.
I think sxg2009 (and myself) was asking more about direct comparisons with other rackets (not the price). I note that you find the Lethal 90 very powerful. Have you tried the Lethal 60 or Lethal 70? If so, how did it compare for you?
yes, i have got and used the lethal 70. it is really hard and stiff racket so it is easy to get cracked ( i cracked it). since lethal 70 is quite old racket and hard to find so i switched to lethal 90 which is more balanced racket but still give you more power and big hit smash. i read the forum and it said that lethal 70 was the best Apacs racket ever produced. if you can still find and buy lethal 70 racket, it's good on you. Apacs just released the new lethal 100 and the racket looked like snake skin really cool. i got it too but lethal 70 and 90 still better.
I recently bought a Lethal 70 for $78.4 US. The apacs distributor I bought it from has recently got new stock for it. With regards to cracking, what string tensions are you using? I've had my Lethal 60 for over a year and played with it regularly. No problems whatsoever at tensions around 26-27 pounds.
that's really a good deal because this racket is hard to find now. i think i have used BG65TI string on it and i has made a good hitting sound but be really careful since the racket is stiff so it's easy to get cracked. the lethal 90 also give a nice wind hitting sound when you are smashing. this racket is so much cheaper in market than Lethal 70 so it's good reason to buy.
That's really bizarre, because the apacs distributor I know is selling the Lethal 90 at a slightly higher price than the Lethal 70. But yes, from looking around web-sites, the Lethal 90 tends to be cheaper. Just goes to show that the Lethal 70 is still a beast of a racket and still one of the best apacs rackets. By the way, contrary to your reports, I have always heard that the Lethal 60 and 70 are incredibly solid and stable rackets. From my personal experience, this is completely true. Therefore, I am quite surprised that you think it is an easy racket to crack.
Okay just back from another session. This time, started out with the Lethal 70 and really enjoyed my badminton. Smashing was incredible as usual. Switched to the Tantrum 300 after about an hour and my level went down significantly. Perhaps I was getting tired? This is the second session where I preferred the Lethal 70 over the Tantrum 300. I seriously can't decide which is the better racket. I think overall, I enjoy the Lethal 70 better, since I can get more powerful smashes with the right technique (it's slightly more head heavy and stiff).
i think you are better stick with lethal 70 otherwise your performance will drop. hahhaha. i think tantrum 300 is more even balanced racket and you need more attacking racket like lethal 70. make sure don't drop or clash with other rackets as it is a stiff racket.
The Tantrum 300 is at least slightly head heavy. When I measured the Balance Point with original factory grip and with strings, it was over 300mm. Also, I don't think stiffer rackets necessarily mean they are easier to break. I clashed my Lethal 60 a few times quite badly and it has not cracked.
There are many ways to answer this question, and all of them can be argued. From a price perspective, the AT900P must be much much "better". I personally have no idea which one is better, as I've never tried the AT900P.
By the way sxg2009, any luck getting hold of a Visible Hollow 2020? If you tell me that it's at least just as good (or the same) as the Visible Hollow 1800, I may consider buying it.
Hi, I'm from New Zealand. Could anyone post an online distributer for Apacs that has good prices and ships to NZ. Thanks in advance
Could you tell me all the Apacs rackets for Advanced players thx . I saw a Lethal 90 is there any review ? Which one is the best for a single player ? Thx for your answers
I am getting VH2000 (same as VH2020). The order got delayed. Still I have to wait. But now for doubles I am liking T200 more than VH1800. My partner is lifting the shuttle too high most of the time and I have to defend & control. T200 is excellent for this. I think I will restring T200 @ 23-24lbs to avoid elbow ache.
Hi, I'm not sure of all the rackets but i used a lethal 90 the other day and fell in love! I have played with yonex Vt80s and nanospeed 9900, li ning n50 as well and i far prefer the lethal 90. I am a fairly intermediate player but i know from some of the very advanced players i know, that the Lethal 70 and 90 are very good. The lethal 100 is very similar to the lethal 70 but i prefer the lethal 70. As for a review for the Lethal 90 this should help. http://badminton-racket.blogspot.com/2010/08/lethal-90-review.html Hope this helps
