little too late about commenting but went to max sports 2 weeks ago i beleive. Bought MP 66 for cheapter then what he listed on the website. (contact him for better prices) very nice service and clean and neat 2 piece stringing. note: it's not a full sports shop. Just small corner in a dollar store so it's little hard to find. Since he wont have everything in the shop call or email him before hand to try anything.

Experience with Racquet Warehouse! Have been playing badminton 10+ years. Have had my racquet stringed by Yo's, Lee's and my badminton buddies. Visited Racquet warehouse last week because it's near the subway and convenient. Had the worst experience ever. First of all, don't be fool by the name it's not a warehouse, it's only the size of convenient store run by a woman of about 50ish. Charges 24 bucks whereas most other palce charge around 20, 25 if you pay credit card. The 50ish woman had the attitude like she ran the Armani Shop of badminton stores. First, She kept on questioning the authenticity of racquet (Yonex MP55), claiming it was a fake and I need to buy a real one from her. I told her I bought it in Sporting Life in Eaton Centre and I was there to string not purchase a racquet. She then called out this supposedly Yonex certified stringer to back up her claim. The expert said it looked real to him which ticked her off even more (I fear for this guy's job security). She couldn't convince me about purchase so back to the stringing. The conversation went on something like this: Woman: 24 dollars please. Me (a bit surprised since most other places are pay when pick up, since they have the racquet as collateral and it's worth much more than 24): Can I Pay upon pick up. Woman: No, You must pay 24 dollars now. Me: I have no cash right now, can I pay you upon pickup. Woman: No, You must pay 24 now. By this time I was ticked off as well so I questioned asked if they would fix the strings for a week or so, just so that if the strings break within a week. Most stores do not have warranties on stringing, but if strings break within too short a period of time (as I have experienced before), most stores would re-do it out of courtesy. This apparently made her angry and she said: No, we have no warranties, and if you don't like it, you can go some place that does. I said: Fine by me. You are not getting my business anway. Took my racquet and walked out. I went to Yo's and had it done for 19 dollars with good attitude and workmanship. BTW: The woman was obviously from Hong Kong, I am from Shanghai so I don't speak Catonese so I spoke English with her all the way. Lesson learned: Don't go to this place unless you are: 1. Cantonese Speaking 2. Willing to pay 24 dollars 3. Bare with her attitude.
I wouldn't consider Browns to be "good"! How about "fair"! But definitely not the best deal when shopping there!
ive gotten my rackets strung at both yo's and lee's they both string rackets very well. not sure about other shops though
i got my racquet strung at winning cycle, coz i bought my nanospeed 5000 there, the string job was done very nicely, and they are very friendly, and since it's a small store, you can usually bargain with them to lower the prices...i got them to give me the yonex bag, the backpack style for like $10 off
I got one of mine strung at Winningcycle and Diamond did a good job. The store is closed as of end of Dec 2008 but still do stringing from home. I also have two racquets strung at Masport and Micheal has a new Yonex string machine. There is also one individual located at Yonge and Steeles using Eagnas 810 machine, you can also wait while your racquet is been strung for additional $3 ( I believe).Forget the tel # and name. In addition to the above, Manderin, Lee or Brown are still around but I've not use their service yet. .

Badminton store near Burlington There are two badminton stores now in Hamilton area, which is close to Burlington area. You can just search by google map, typing Badminton store, Burlington, Ontario. Jack's Sports & Gifts and BaddyMania. But my personal experience is Jack's Sports provides much faster service.
