    asics

This model used to be one of the high end series. Great gel cushioning and after break, it gets comfortable.:)

oh sorry for that! hehehe! :D yeah that's what I mean.

anyways, already tried it in the court and I really feel the comfort in it plus very light compared to my old shoes.

i've been to sm yesterday and the other asics shoe that I was talking about when I was at trinoma was the asics gel EX II... I think it's a new model, but I'm already happy with my gel lightning.

How much is it? What are the other asics and mizuno you saw and their prices?

I'm also planning to buy this weekend. I initially considered buying yonex SHB-90M but was set back by the price of it, P3,990 at Chris Sports. Also, I read several reviews here that yonex shoes are not durable.

    Thanks!

The high-end Yonex shoes are very durable.

yes you are correct. my yonex shb 99 ltd is still up and running since february and i almost play 4 times a week with a couple of hard games on hand.

i'm contemplating of buying a second pair of badminton shoes with a budget of not more than P3500. for the mizuno brand, their cheapest so far is P3750 with a less 10% cash discount. have you heard of the wave angle R1?

if yes, can you share your reviews on this model?

No, the cheapest Mizuno right now is the Wave Gate II, for less than PHP 3k.

I have a pair of Wave Angle R1. It's very light and low to the ground. It's the shoes I move fastest in. The cushioning is not so good though. Excellent court grip and durability.

i found the wave gate more cushioned than the wave smash and wave angle even though the wave gate is a lower end model.

I have the Wave Gate II but reckon its now out of production and had been replaced by Wave Gate III.

My wife and I are planning to buy a wave lightning 3. When ever I search through the internet I only see one color for men's while there are many variants for women. Is there any difference between the men's and women's shoes of mizuno in terms of size? I also like the red mode.

my shb99(nov2005-dec06) and shb90(dec2006-dec2007) lasted only 1 year of regular play. i also have a mizuno wave smash2 which i bought it 2 years ago. i used all three pairs alternately. so, with yonex it's one pair a year and with mizuno it's one pair for two years.

i'm planning to buy mizuno this month.
