From down 8-14, MZ leads now 19-15...unbelievable!

Top-seed out, superb performance by Marc Zwiebler to eliminate TH, 21-16 ; 21-15.

Appears to be a lack-lustre performance from TH. Hopefully he's hungrier next week in Vancouver (and I don't mean for satay :D)

LL tames the youngster TTY 21-18 in G2. Wonder how much more LL has left in the tank for the rubber

Suprising to see Taufik Hidayat going down to Marc Zweibler quite easily.

I think the MS field is much weaker in Vancouver. It would be a crime if TH doesn't defend his title.

TTY zooms past LL 6-9 to 11-9. The break couldn't have come any sooner for LL

20-20 in the rubber. 60 mins gone. Amazing to see LL still at this fitness level!

TTY finally puts LL away 22-20. Good effort from LL to push the youngster all the way

Like THA, CHN is also having a bad day. 0-3 so far.

On the other hand, JPN is flying. 6-0 so far.

Wow, limsy's fave Tai Tzu Ying saved 3 match points to win decider 22-20.
    A tough battle as displayed by close scoreline, 21-19 ; 18-21 ; 22-20 in exact 1 hour.

It is much weaker field but Marc will be there as 2nd seed. Most likely to be a repeat of this quarter final in the final next week.

Another thriller down to the wire. CSC forces deuce from 18-20.

    Sato saves match point 22-22
