It is blessing in disguise with kido/hendra fail to qualify at olympic 2012, in recent interview hendra stated that he still hungry for another olympic chance. This pair will play again today.....but against Malaysia Junior was not counted..I was there..malaysia junior was so nervous...Hendra will continue playing,,,..not sure about Kido..I cant say it now...
I think Hendra Setiawan can still win medal 4 years from now. I am not sure what option he has with regards to a Men doubles partner. Alvent is too old in 4 years time. Hendra Gunawan might not be that good. In XD, he might be better with Pia rather than Vita as Pia is younger. Not much option too as all the good women double players are in Pelatnas.
Hendra / Tontowi.. If hendra came back to pelatnas, since in my opinion, a little bit hard to imagine Towi left pelatnas..
it's not about the ability of tontowi playing MD. it's all about PBSI policy which dont allow player to compete in 2 dept. and, when did you last time watch/know tontowi play MD ??
yes... frans with ahsan... won against nova with partner (devin ??) in final... even, when tontowi was still in Djarum, i remember that he only played in XD pair with yulianti... cmiiw...
Towi played XD only, he was paired with Shendy as alternate of Rijal/Debby Too much choice in MD, Ahsan, Frans, Rian, Yoke also Rendy, Afiat Loong time ago when junior, Towi play in MD. In AJC 2005 he paired with his club mate M. Syarifuddin (I forgot the name)
