Panda Power Trinity Panda Power Ultra i thought instead of dc wording in the triangle, a pic of real panda will be nice. dear master NGP, when can i see it is MAS?
I'll take them both! Hopefully the shipping is cheap... I like the Sketchy's Trinity design, but not so much on the Ultra. The original Ultra in your picture looks better with the black & yellow. For Sketchy's Ultra colouring, I think navy blue goes better with bright yellow. Or you can go with havy blue and gold!
The original picture of the Ultra is dark purple and yellow not black and yellow. The image just wasn't color corrected.
"Ultra" is a better name for the racket because regardless of the player, the racket is "ultra". "Thunder" is a great name but whether or not a "thunder"ous sound can be generated is dependent on the wielder.
Oh....my mistake. I thought the Ultra was Black and Yellow because....it looks like so in the picture. The purple was so dark that it looks like black from the picture.
hello Mr. Panda, newbie here...just want to ask...dont forget to distribute to Indonesia want to buy it too if the price is reasonable...
Is it? Maybe I am missing something but I think I have read all the post in this thread, and could not see any mention if you can freely choose any material selection, or if you where limited to suggestions, and selections fom the OEM (maybe the suppliers the OEM already uses?) Could the OEM for example accomodate use of meidai tetra-axial graphite for the shaft? How about torsion stiffness?!? Any reinforcements in the design for t-joint? cheers, Twobeer
TJ, Panda already chose the material, it's in the post, for the Ultra, Toray M30GC for the frame and triple tapered M30GC for the shaft. This project was not a spare no expense one. Panda was looking for the relative best performance and durability to money spent ratio. For instance, yes, Panda could get a tetra-axial shaft and/or frame (which is a fancy/advanced method of/and calling "woven graphite"-Meidai's patented name), but the shaft alone would cost more than the current racket itself. This was the first thing Panda inquired about as shaft durability was Panda's first concern for the Ultra. Panda is currently testing a prototype "new" woven graphite frame with 46T (1000t) shaft and the frame is extremely solid. Much more so than the shaft which leads Panda to wanting to make a third racket, the "Ultra Woven"; which would have the new woven frame with the triple tapered composite shaft. The price would be more expensive but still reasonable. Now Panda knows why SOTX charges $300 USD for the Woven 16...
In other words, Panda is not going the F1 route . Hey wait, there may be a F1 line of models from the Panda in the future pending demand . hee hee
