    Third furnace /heater is been considered by the club owner.
    Anyway the weather is getting warmer now and it (3rd heater) might get installed before the next winter.

    Saturday: 9:00am to 12:00pm;

    Agincourt Open Badminton Centre is inviting you to 4 free play sessions in the coming two weekends, Feb. 27 & 28, and Mar. 6 & 7.

    Free play sessions: Saturday & Sunday: Morning 9:00am to 12:00pm
    Afternoon 3:00pm to 6:00pm

    Donations are accepted for these free play sessions, we thank you for your generosity and support.

    *Notes for Memberships:
    1. Members need to specify the day of the week when sign up.
    2. Members may play anytime on the day specified during business hour.
    3. Members when play on court do not have exclusive right to the court they are play on (unlike court rental).
    4. Members share the court with other members including Drop-in players during play.
    5. Members are automatically entitled to members' rate when book a court rental court.
    6. Memberships are non-refundable but one-time transferrable to another person when paid annually.


    In addition, $10/hr court rental is still available and $100 court rental credit purchase will lock your rate for six months. $5.00 drop-in guest fee for any 3 hours play outside the free play sessions.

    I think he's referring to a one time initiation fee which is usually standard from most "private" clubs.

    The answer appears to be no because it does not seem to be stated. I will be playing there on Wednesday so I'll find out.

    Went there tonight around 8:30, spent 15 minutes looking for the entrance, 15 minutes circulating around and trying to open the locked door, finally left without even seeing the place..... :(:mad:

    AOBC thanks everyone who joined the try-out sessions during the weekend and we look forward to your coming back again. Following are several items maybe of interests to you:

    1). Weekend try-out:
    For the try-out sessions of this weekend (March 6 & 7), we are going to make some changes:
    Hours changed to:
    Saturday & Sunday Drop-in:
    10:00am to 1:00pm
    3:00pm to 6:00pm

    The fee for these sessions is $1.00 instead of being free, please pass on this change to all who wants to come.

    We are charging $1.00 in hope that this will allow enough courts for all who show up.

    2). Week nights Drop-in:

    We are making following recommended Drop-in sessions for week nights (Monday to Friday):

    7:00pm to 10:00pm

    The fee for drop-in in these hours is $3.00, yes only $3.00! these sessions are recommended for competitive games. If you have some time to kill or you want to have a game with players you know of you don’t, come and join us.

    The cost is only $3.00!

    Court rental is always available during and beyond these hours.


    3). Regular prices for drop-ins (when promotion ends):

    Following options to participate these nights after promotion:

    Recommended Drop-in/Member Sessions:
    Mon. Wed. Fri.:
    7:00pm to 10:00pm
    Sat. & Sun.:
    10:00am to 1:00pm
    3:00pm to 6:00pm

    Drop-in Fee: $5.00 for each session above (3 hours) except for promotional offers.
    Punch Cards Special for drop-in sessions:
    $40.00 for any 10 sessions
    $70.00 for any 20 sessions
    $90.00 for any 30 sessions

    4). Session membership:
    Members choose the day of the week at sign-up, may play outside the recommended drop-in/member session.
    1 day per week annual membership $150.00
    2 day per week annual membership $240.00
    3 day per week annual membership $300.00
    Unlimited-play annual membership $365.00

    If you bring more than 8 players at the same time, ask us about Group Discount! (use this option to form your own badminton club and play with the players you like, and play under a system your group chooses).

    Enjoyed My First Visit

    Went to play here last night. It is a real friendly place to play. The rates are very reasonable and the staff is friendly. It is a good place to go for drop in or if you want to rent a court with some friends! :)
    I recommend it and will return in the future! :)
