If I can't use it I'll go back to the U2 and give the U1 to my bro who's also using a U2. Worst case It'll be the training racquet :)

Coolie. I'm not really looking for one, but I want to own a beast of a U1 in specs like those.

Amen is right! Christ is life, our all in all. But that's another story for another forum. :p

Back to racket news: the working samples (U3, Revelation) should be here a bit sooner than expected, the first week of March. The Genesis is over a month out.

So many rackets in so little time! Pace yourself, dear Panda.

You must give yourself time to rest. (And give your poor customers time to make more money to buy the next version ;))

Sneak preview and latest info for your pals on the revelation ? Would like to decide whether that 3rd T2 of mine that I have been saving is in jeopardy. Don't think I have even used it since I knew I may be somewhat inclined to buy new DC products.:D

Europe is in the same boat as every other distributor. Panda will know more in a few days as Chinese New Year is wrapping up.

Again, the Revelation is 3+ months away. I was testing the Genesis prototype these past few days and it's really awesome. We may see the Genesis in 2 months. :D

Here's a great testimony from a gentleman in the Phillipines:

"Hi. I ordered another U2 from your distributor Adrian Kok but he had only one which was near the weight of my first u2...

I had a problem with your U2 Bp 286mm 87.2g at first. Had it strung at 28/30 using Bg65. It felt like a paddle. Restrung it at 25/27 using ngy 98 did not like it either. But last week I let a former 'number 1 Junior Phillipine Single's Badminton player,' (and) Philippine National Singles player who was coaching my son use the racket. Guess what. He did not want to return the racket. The smashes that he did were awesome and effortless. He was always on the attack because there was no time for him to defend. He then suggested to me to string it at 30/31 using bg 65 and let me try using it and BOY THE POWER and CONTROL GENERATED BY THE U2 IS OUT THIS WORLD.

You were right when you said that you wont go for a Mercedez Benz for looks only. The U2 IS ALREADY A FERRARI as to its performance.

Thanks and regards. GOOD JOB."

Hey everyone I just picked up my Ultra 1 and Ultra 2 today from Mjstrings and the stringing was fantastic. So here's my experience with these 2 racquets. Some side notes is that I didn't have any overgrips to put on them so the grip size was kinda small to my liking. Also I use 2 different strings because I wanted the color to match ;)

Ultra 1: 87.4g, BP 294mm, BG-80 26lbs yellow.

When I took the racquet out of the bag first thing that strunk me was, OMG it is really head heavy! To me this racquet looks way cooler then the Ultra 2. I kinda like more text on the racquet. When I startled playing I missed like 5 times even when serving and mishits were happening constantly. But when I finally hit the sweet spot I imagine I was Thor with his mighty hammer! So much power! Clears were effortless and netplay was still pretty fast after you get use to it. The smash was so addicting. I would use this racquet for singles. For doubles it's kinda slow for my taste.

Rating:
Power:9.5/ 10
Control: 9/10
Defence: 8.5/10
Maneuverability: 8.5/10

Ultra 2: 87.2g, BP 285mm, BG-85 26lbs lavendar.

This racquet is also really amazing. First few minutes were mishits and totally missing the shuttles. The graphics on this racquet are better then the Ultra 1 but I like the yellow and black and the Text on the head better then just purple stripes. Defence on this one is better with the BP lower but power is still almost effortless. It felt like for one minute I was using a 4U racquet but the power of a 2U. I felt at ease when playing because I know that with this racquet in my hand I can do any shot.

Rating:
Power:9/ 10
Control: 8.5/10
Defence: 9.5/10
Maneuverability: 9.5/10

Conclusion: Both racquets are really awesome and well made. I would like both racquets more if the text "Panda Power" was alot bigger so other's could see and maybe put it on the racquet cover. :)

I'm using the Ultra 1 for singles mostly or rallying. The Ultra 2 is when I need a faster racquet that can still give that power. I need a Trinity to use when I need a super fast attacking racquet. For now saving $ for the new racquets to come out. Dink is robbing us of money on this pandastic (pronouced: pan-as-tic) racquets.
