LCW - for the knee injury, he was given 2 options, surgery or non surgery. As we know,he chose non surgery. Now we know what the injections back then were. LCW did very well back from the knee injury. WMC- for a time yes, she did quite well, which year she SS finals? She was also advised to go for surgery which she refused. Knee Surgery for WMC meant she might as well retire. I suppose it depends on severity of injury, WMC's one is long standing one which look like only surgery can repair, plus its both knees
