There is a new 2013 version of this shoe I found. Lucky me, and the colors are nice, better than before.
Wilson Court Elite 1000 - I've had them for about 7 months now... ...and before that it was Babolat Shadows (looking kind of battered now)
Just bought these off eBay. I've played badminton when I was younger and now in my 30's. I have never owned an actual pair of "badminton" shoes. I know, "ahh" "gasp", lol. I'm getting more serious now. Joining a club and we are having our Territorial championships in a few weeks which I'm really excited about.
I just found a pair of brand new Yonex SHB-92 MX to replace my very old SHB 98 M's. So far not liking the too radical designs of the current generation of Yonex shoes.
Same here, just started to play again in my 30's. I haven't played for like 6 - 7 years? That was my excuse for a new pair of shoes *ahem*.
i'm been playing badminton for 13 year already and those were the shoe i wore in the past first shoe second shoe third shoe use it then retired it and use it for training now fourth shoe using it now to leisure to play and to play tournament fifth shoe new never use it yet until my other shoe ripped
Currently wearing Mizuno Wave Fang as main, and Yonex SHB SC-4MX as backup I love the SC (Super Cushion) shoes from YY as they are the easiest on my heels when landing a jump
Playing with SHA-850 for 4 months now, good shoes overall, I prefer them to my last Victor shoes SH9000 Ace (second pic)
Gel blade - 3. Since the production has stopped, been using gel blade-4 now. Awesome grip and cushioning. It's very light and once the shoe has started to 'soften' a bit. It feels like you are not wearing a shoe at all. Exagerated. I know but that's how i feel right now.
I was looking for cheaper badminton shoes after FZ Forza's FZ-3000DK see: http://www.badmintonian.com/collections/shoes/products/fz-3000dk-mens-badminton-shoes $100 and broken shortly after one year. with about 600 hours of badminton (10 hrs avg/week), was that a good deal? amazon.com had a special USD$77 for Head Speed Pro Lite Court shoe after contemplation about ASICS. Will possibly post pictures later~
Easy! first: If your shoes last more than one year of good average playing time over the year, it s a good deal. Second: $100/600=0.17$ per hour.... that is cheap and cost efficient deal. To finish, if you feel good with your shoes it s one problem solve to not be bother with.
