That's what I mean, and this is because there is one extra cross-string. Instead of the usual racquets with 22crosses, this one has 23 crosses.
I got it from www.kaisengbadminton.com, it is located in HK. I was there so I pick it up from the store.
Not too sure, but my friend says that the TC700 feels hollow. He tried another friend's NS9000s and he took to it like fish to water ! He didn't have any problem adjusting to it and didn't miss any shots. His regular racquets are AT500 and AT700. The tension on my TC700 is 26lbs, which is the tension I used on all my racquets. I am also using BG66 which is the string of choice for me. Anyway, I am adjusting to the TC700 for sure, now able to control it better.
I find that the GP10 swings faster, but that may also be because my TC700 is a 2U while the GP10 is a 3U. The Mizuno racquet frames are thinner than Yonex ones IMO.
Is this 2U the same as the Yonex rating? If so, that's awesomely heavy! Is it thinner than the ArcSaber 10 frame as well?
Jhirata, when you say mizuno is thinner than yonex are you referring to the material used or the design of the frame ? If it is the design, AT series has one of the widest side profile compare to other brands.
I'm talking about the design. Both front-on and side-on, the frame's cross-section is thinner than both my AT700 frame and MP40 frame. It is not as thin as the Cab8 frame however. My TC700's measurements: At the 3 O'clock position from the side, it is 9.95mm thick, and 6mm thick front-on. At the 12 O'clock position, it is 10mm thick from the side and 6.5mm front-on. This, I don't know. I'll have to compare them later to see.
Hmm... but he miss mah... sure hollow right? . Kidding.. Is he an oval user? I can't seem to feel the shuttle with all the iso's resulting in a lot of mis-timed shots. Not sure if its the same feeling. When my legs recuperate, I'll ask to join you for a game to try out the TC700.
TC700 is one of the least "hollow" rackets i know.. very very solid.. more solid than any of the NS-series. period NS9000s is more flexy and an easier racket to begin with .also given the same string tension i think NS9Ks has aslightly bigger but less rewarding sweetspot, so more suitable for weaker players / girls .. real men would choose the X (or the TC700 ) /Twobeer
Hmm... new Olympic event... Real Men Singles. Same rules as Men Singles except players must use TC700. Cab30 can?
Yes,i've heard that the old and new TC700 r two different rackets. From the pics i've seen,issarakarya..urs is the old colour. They said old colours better than the new ones. So,congrats to u,me,jhirata and the rests who has the old ones..
Comparing 9KX and TC700..for me,TC700 still booms harder and heavier than the 9KX.Besides,no need to worry for getting clash, unlike NS9KX since it's so fragile.Btw,i've sold my NS9KX since i'm afraid to clash it in doubles..LOL
The new one feels a tiny bit better to me.. But I am not sure if it is placebo, or thafact that I have used the old ones so much /T
