difference people diff opinion...i'll go for Apacs Tantrum 160 International for budget below Rm200...price RM 170-180 without string.....3U racket 88~90 g with slightly head heavy....

or 2nd choice u can go for Wilson k-Tour....Rm170 with string (powerful racket..but must have strong wrist)....

Im prefer pro ace rather than apacs, but pro ace has variety of rackets that hard to be chosen either by price or specification........anyone here has experience with pro ace racket? which model is ok?

I think about pro ace widebody 55, but the store man said that pro ace no longer produce that kind of classic. Anyone here know where to get it in penang?

Pro Ace Widebody 55 is heavy (3U) & packs lotsa punch when smash. It's a well known model & longest in production. Alternative Oval shape would be Ti-9, Ti-7, DMS 328. If 3U little heavy, could go for 4U range like Lightning 828, 838, Ti-Killer. All these are 674mm & mid-stiffness shaft.

For Iso Square Head, Ti-11, Platinum Dream, ThunderBolt 3, Sweetspot 1000-2000 are good choice too.

I used platinum dream before and the paint chipped easily and it vibrated when hitting hard. Maybe the racket is too light. For budget below RM200, i would recommend wilson K-factor series..
There are many k factor models like, k-lite, tour, pro, blade, power, strike etc and the price is well below RM200.
U may consider one of these models if you dont mind the brand name.
    :)

Try Yang Yang Nanoblade 99, it is quite good. It feels the same as yonex mp. My friend has it. He is an attacking player and has one of the most powerfull smashes in his league.

Tantrum 160 good choice, I have Tantrum 130 and it us good, I assume 160 should be better...try out APACS Visible Hollow 1700 at RM200 from Pertama Complex, I just bought one, excellent racket at that price and include bag as well.

Each racket is designed to suit one special person...balance racket, head heavy, light, stringing tension etc. Rather than seeking what racket to buy for yourself from this forum, I suggest to go a racket shop in Penang and hold/check out the racket before you buy. The store owner may be able to advise you on the racket choice as well, I find the malaysian racket stores that sells only badminton rackets (not the store that sell everything and has only a salegirl running the store type) and manage by the store owner are very knowledgeable e.g. the store at Pertama Complex in KL. BCers here can provide you the review comments on a particular rackets e.g. NS9900, APACS tantrum, etc.

yeap, that is good idea. paying some visits to stores will help a lot. hold some rackets and see which one is suitable.

Even-balanced to head light. Not so square head & its like a "hybrid" (oval+square), widebody (x-view). Mid-stiff Flex. Overall racket.

3 months ago I have talked with Apacs salesman and I came to know that Proace and Apacs are the same company.

    Racket below RM 200 :
    - Flypower-Arbi Tornado 800 (Markis Kido's new gear) - but need to buy at least 10 pieces to get RM200/piece.
    - Many models of Yangyang high-ends rackets.
    - Many models of Apacs high-ends.

detail ? you may PM me .....
